Bitcoin to Cash

I`m looking into doing Bitcoin but want to get a hard understanding of turning Bitcoin into Cash first.

1) Should I use ATM Bitcoin machines or meet in person services in Los Angeles and Las Vegas to turn Bitcoin into Cash?

2) What Would be a Fair % Fee to turn Bitcoin into Cash?

And finally Whats the best Bitcoin wallet service to Hold my Bitcoins or can I just store bitcoins on my computer somhow without using 3rd party?

Any advice would be appreciated :pop2:

Localbitcoin is very god for trading on.

As for % fee. That depends on the seller and trader

I'd use something like tresorit - that's a physical wallet so to speak. Avoid storing on computer for so many obvious reasons.

I myself used Localbitcoins several times to cashout and its proven to be the simplest.
The higher your reputation the better the rate you can charge so id start with a few low volume transaction to gain the feedbacks and the trade history before proceeding to anything more substantial.

Why not use an exchange? Coinbase? Kraken?

LocalBitcoins is fine but isn't it a hassle?

Beware of Bitcoin cards/ATM's. Most of the time it's some sort of scam.

Trading BTC is very simple. Register a coinbase account and link your bank account. Linking your bank gives you the ability to buy or sell BTC to/from coinbase. You get a wallet address when you sign up for coinbase but you can store your BTC externally if you want.

Kraken's another good option but they're a bit of a pain in my experience. It took them 4-5 months to "confirm" my account to the point where I could actually buy BTC. Lost interest in their platform by the time they finally got back to me.

That was when BTC was exploding in worth, and everyone wanted in on it.

I was in your predicament, though I recently got verified within a few hours. But then found out you can't buy BTC in GBP as they no longer support it, which annoyed me. But should work fine for you (USD).

You must be using the wrong cards then.

I've been using Wirex for over a year now without issue.

It can be at first while youre learning how to handle the system - especially when youre growing your feedback and reputation on that platform.
BUT
Once you get the hang of it I find it the most profitable - and more importantly the most private. If you do things the right way theres no trail leading to you and it is completely anonymous.

I see, that makes sense.
