Yesterday NEO released that thing I posted yesterday that said there would be a BIG announcement Monday November 20th 2017.

I also heard a rumor that Chinese and Korean miners were going to stop mining BTC and switch to Bcash and NEO and BTC would die. The Chinese Goverment would stand behind NEO and work with it the way the U.S. is working with BTC. Don't believe the FOMO though, they have news coming out but people are trying to pump it up at same time.

There are too many people and a LOT of money involved in Bitcoin for people to just 'allow' it to die. Its all FUD as far as Im concerned.

Weekend updates: Alt market continues to climb before crashing on Sunday morning, BTC takes the leap from 7500-8000 to 8000-8300. Alts recover Sunday afternoon and rise again, Ethereum gets the slight bump it deserves(5-10%). and Power Ledger puts its name on the map(again) with a 100% gain before dipping.

What a crazy last two days for alts. BTC price has floated between 8000 and 8300 causing alts to make more gains. in particular, from the top 10, the leaders were bitcoin cash, monero, dash, and ethereum. Outside the top 10, you had significant gains from TNT, augur, quantstamp, dogecoin, power ledger, raiden network, aeternity, and more.

This alt run is scary. Alts gained $5b in half a day. You shouldn't be holding bitcoin right now, at least until the trend reverses. This reminds me of the bull run we saw mid-August after the large btc gains.

I predicted BTC would go on a run Thurs-Sun after people got together for Thanksgiving and talked about the massive gains. Banks open again tomorrow, so there could be up to $10b in new money.

So if you were smart enough to check the price of BTC since Saturday morning, you would see it's gone on a bullrun gaining more than $1400 in price and $23 billion in market cap. As for alts, they've had an incredible 4-day run gaining 23%(not counting the addition of bitcoin gold to the market cap, which made quite an impressive run with Litecoin, Ethereum, and Dash) until stagnating on Saturday morning when BTC exploded.

If you were smart enough and a risk-taker to see money was being pumped into a handful of mid-cap alts, you would have seen the rise of such alts as Substratum, Syscoin, and Einsteinum, which single-handedly jumped 150% last night. One of the hardest things to do is to jump on an alt already up 30% on the day and ride it. I say set your target around 10% gains, sell half, and then free roll with the other half. You can sell another half if it keeps going up as well.

Among the top 20, EOS and Cardano have taken 25-30% gains since this morning.

I missed the pump of DGD(digital gold) by about 15 minutes. I woke up from my nap and decided to just drink some water and walk around for a few minutes when I saw that the price was up from 30% to 200%. I saw that a dump was happening and tried to swing trade it, but my order book was lagging, so I should have been up $1000 and ended up down $700 afterwards. The volume jumped from 200btc to 700btc in an hour. I didn't see what it was during the pump, only the dump. It's crazy there were almost three times as many orders by volume during the dump. The price has stabilized for now around 0.014btc.

Cardano is being pumped like crazy right now, up 130% on the day. I lost .15btc on a trade because the page was so laggy. I had a buy setup for 1400 and then wanted to execute a sell at 1475. The page wouldn't tell me if my buy went through even though I had the highest price on the order book. I had to go to my wallet, then go back to the market page and put in the sell. By then the price had fallen to 1250.

Alts are going up because btc is stalled around $10k.

Most of the alts will eventually go up, but the hard part is predicting when and how much. Usually, you want to back off if it's gone up so much on the day already because you know it will fall back down, but sometimes it can take days for that to happen. I wish I had all the data on all the alt movement.

So there's nothing like the total market cap going up 4% while you're sleeping and watching the alt market cap go up 20% when you decide to take a couple days off(holding bitcoin) to catch up on orders knowing the alts are gonna rebound. I had a chance to buy Yoyow at 4 AM when I woke up to go to the bathroom, but I decided to go back to sleep instead.
