Last Day 2 Buy Large Amount Of BTC From CoinBase B4 Segwit2x
 

Big purchases take up to a week and a half to go through Coinbase using a bank account. We have about 1800 more blocks before the Segwit2x fork... If your debating... today may be the last day to purchase more than 200-400$ from Coinbase to have it in your account before the fork.

I cashed out at $6,320 when it flew passed $6k... I was then planning to buy back in around $5,900 but it just never dropped below $6k. (yes, kicking myself, bad decision).

Now i'm just waiting for price to drop again all of a sudden (pre-fork) so I can buy in again. What are the odds?, I mean all it takes is one bad publicity (similar to what happened with Bitcoin Gold fork).

I was under the impression you got your S2X as long as you had confirmed the buy 24 hours before the fork. That is rotten then. Also, don't buy through ACH direct deposit that can take 7 days. Also, the fees are way too high at 1.5%. Buy through the wire option if you're on coinbase. I registered for Gemini yesterday morning, they confirmed my driver's license a few hours later(I was expecting up to 2 weeks from their terms), and my wire appeared in my account an hour later after calling the bank to get a one-time access code. All I had to was pay a $25 wire fee for one BTC plus a $15 exchange fee.

But it's important that you move your BTC out of Gemini at least 24 hours prior to the fork. I would move it right now to another exchange like Bittrex that's already promising S2X coins at the snapshop during the fork approximately Nov. 16. You should immediately sell your BTC for alts during their recovery and then buy back BTC when the price growth surpasses that of the alts you've bought.

Check out the market caps the last 24 hours showing alts have already begin to recover at the same rate as BTC growth. I missed a data point in the middle of the night and the first two were taken close together about an hour apart instead of every 6 hours.

The way I understand it the actual BTC has to be in your account... So when they take the snapshot its connected to your Coinbase BTC address. I'm pretty sure this 24hr thing is that Coinbase stops all BTC transactions an estimated 24hrs before block 494,784.

If your buying $200-$400 worth with debit before they stop transactions you'll be good because BTC instantly goes in your account that way.

I can tell Eth is moving... I'm finding a lot more shares today than I was yesterday.

Will all the Exchnge platforms give as much B2X as BTC Balance ?

As I understood we will have then 4 senarios :

1- BTC or B2X will be equal zero one of them will not be existing anymore
the survivor will have the same market price of BTC now
2- BTC only exists (so business as usual, as if there was no segwit2x)
3- B2X only exists (so BTC are gone and I have B2X at the Market Price)
4- Both BTC and B2X coexists, and I have As much BTC As B2X and it is up to the market to give the price for each.. but i think the market would more support B2X for faster confirmation and lower transaction fee..

I think it's option 4. The others sound like a horror story, especially option 1 where you say they'll be equal to zero - not sure where you plucked that from.

that would be a Horror Story ur right! I dont "say" anything just trying to guess what would happen.. yeap Option 4 would be the most Preferable :amen:

Option 4 is the likely scenario from everything I read.
