Actually there are several threads discussing crypto currencies currently ongoing. You can find them all under the 'CryptoCurrency' subforum tab - the link is on the lefthand side.

Yes, i've been using btc since 2013 or 2014. Got some money from exchanging btcs. But not that much since i really don't want to risk my money for something "unrealiable" value of btc.

I bought my first coins in July 2015 at $280. You can pry them outta my cold dead hands. I think BCash is trash but will hold it as a hedge. I didn't pay anything for it so why not.

I only mine coins. I am starting to go over to bitcoin gold. About 35% higher mining profit then ETH.

Not at this point.
From what Im seeing the scaling problem is something affecting all crypto currencies which to me means there will be space for more currencies to reduce the pressure on the top blockchains.
Since Bitcoin gold is still in the top 10 I can see it gaining more in value - same way BCH did. Despite what Bitcoin cash enthusiasts say scaling will eventually be an issue for that blockchain as well.

Can you elaborate further on why you believe it will collapse?

It will never collapse. It's longevity is no longer in question IMO. It's future value- there's definitely room for debate there, but it's not going to be a historic thing we look back on as being no longer here in a decades time.

It did a little over the last few days in value right now, but BTC is a long term gainer still

With this last surge everyone and their nan heard about BTC from the MSM. It has major problems with fees and transaction speed. Its value is propped up by perception and usage persistance. So many alts offer better technology.

Bigdaz... just wondering from your experience, since I may know of a way to get into litecoin by a local sale, and now I have a Binance account... Litecoin can be easily deposited into a Binance account, to use as a wallet to trade to other coins from? Does that make sense?

Binance doesn't let you load your account with a CC or PP, but I know of a local deal I can make for a few Litecoin, and will that be all I need to have some trading power within Binance?

Re: bitcoin anyone?

Bitcoin bounces back, shoots for over $9,000.

Just last week, it was looking like bad news for Bitcoin, as the price of the top cryptocurrency floundered at around $7,800. However, the tables turned on Tuesday as BTC surpassed key resistance and achieved its biggest single-day rise in over a month at 8.74% gains, adding over $800 to its value.

At the time of writing, BTC is trading at $8,771, not quite up to Tuesday’s $8,900, but this is likely just a short-term correction. Bulls backing the top cryptocurrency are now gearing up to face the next major resistance – the 200-day moving average located at $9,100. This could be a distinct possibility if the bullish trend continues. In fact, popular analyst Josh Rager expects a potential break above $10,350, setting the bulls running for months to come.

Cryptocurrency prices head north.

The bullish market mood isn’t only limited to bitcoin. Cryptocurrency prices have been moving up, with the market valuation of all 4,000+ coins reaching around $235 billion on Tuesday. ETH (Etherium) and XRP (Ripple) also enjoyed gains, with ETH currently trading at around $162 at the time of writing.

Bears beware

On 13th January, former Goldman Sachs analyst and Adaptive Capital executive Murad Mahmudov slammed cryptocurrency bears for betting against Bitcoin. Claiming that ‘bears are deluded at best, dishonest at worst’, Mahmudov backed up his argument with a chart that shows BTC passing key trend lines.
