Where do I Buy Other Crypotcurrencies
 

I'm not talking about BTC, ETC, LTC... I'm talking about the sh*t most people never heard of. What type of wallets do they use? Is there a universal wallet for every cryptocurrency?

There are a few ways to do so.

1. google a dealer for these currencies. Like coinbase there are others in the market who also sell the smaller coins (anycoindirect for example)

2. Exchange them for btc/eth within your wallet (like exodus software wallet)

3. Exchange btc/eth on binance and then send it back to your wallet.

I think with hardware wallets like trezor or ledger you can install almost every coin. but I am not sure about that. Other than that you may want to look for software wallets like exodus or exodus eden, they have a significant amount of smaller coins.

Ledger is the best hardware wallet if you want to be holding a bunch of different alt coins

You can hold any erc20 token as well as a bunch of others:
