I guess it depends on when you bought in. I bought in around $300 so I'll be riding it out a bit longer.

I bought in at £750, sold the full coin banked the profit, then sold 1 Litecoin and bought Ether again for £900 with the previous £750 and the sale of the Litecoin, whilst banking the profit of the sale of the 1 Ether coin I originally bought.

You bought in cheap, how long ago was Ether at that price?

I'd have to go into my wife's Coinbase (never could get mine setup) to find the exact date/price but it wasn't that long ago. Last June or July. I bought 20 over the course of 2 weeks and they've been sitting there since. Bought a little over .5 BTC around the same time for $950. I've done a little short-term alt coin trading but I don't plan to touch my ETC/BTC balances unless they drop to where I'm netting a loss. Even with all my doomsday talk about crypto being in a massively overinflated bubble I can't turn a blind eye to the profit potential, lol.
