Breaking News: Doug Polk Bets Ton Vays 10k BTC Will Not See 6k
 

Doug Polk, Professional poker player & YouTube crypto influencer made a $10,000 bet with Tone Vays, former JP Morgan VP & BTC Technical Analyst & YouTube influencer that BTC will not break below 6k before 2019.

Tone Vays has continued to remain bearish based off his TA over the last few weeks even with the run back up just shy of 10k. Ton believes it's possible we could see the price of BTC go as low as 4.9k - 1.3k. With price action to mimic the year of 2014.

I watch Doug Polk's videos from time to time; they're informative.

As for the bet I agree. It just doesn't make sense it would be below 6k. I see it slowly going up from here. Late this year 20k+ :p

Only a matter of time.
I'm not even thinking of it in terms of months - I'm looking a the 3-5 year range when I consider my BTC investments.

Tone knows his stuff and has been in crypto for quite some time. If you look at 2014 it does look a lot like 2018.

Tone loves sequential number indicators. He has his own that is pretty good.

I am bearish too. I think we could still hit 6k. However, the bulls might ignore all TA.

Really, I don't care either way. I have buy orders set @ 6.5k, 6k, and 5.5k. I just see it as another opportunity to acquire as much BTC as I can afford. I just hope we dont break the 4.9k and change Tone keeps talking about. 1.3k would be a straight up nightmare...

The only difference between now and 2014 was that 2014 was when Mt. Gox imploded and a lot of money was lost. I think we would need some really bad news like that to make us drop back to 6k. As it is right now, everything is looking good for BTC. You see Jimmy Songs weather report... you can get in transactions for 1 Satoshi per byte if you don't mind waiting a little while.

Looks like Doug is going to have to pay up....

BTC hit 5.9k yesterday for a brief moment...

I was able to fill a buy order I had set at $6,040.00 yesterday.

I wish I had more cash to invest.... I'd be looking to buy @ 5.5k and 5k... But its going to take 2 weeks for Coinbase to process my cash deposit. I might miss the boat.

Very interesting to see where it goes from here, either way I'm looking at it from a long long term investment, so am not to worried about the drop
