| glacier922 | 12-13-2021 11:36 PM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up no, lol, not what i meant, I meant the inflation that's occurring now. I wish I had that many bitcoin, but scared to buy more now that it's at 47k. |
| james_112233 | 12-14-2021 04:37 AM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up Just buy high and sell low. That's how you win in crypto !
Jokes aside I agree with yankee. It's during the recessions where the rich get richer as they have capital to buy low. And when everything recovers they're wealthier than before. |

| yankee | 12-14-2021 11:39 AM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up China's Shimao Bonds and others have just been cut by 50% It has already effected major USA real estate companies and many if not most Western World Pensions. Blackstone just had to remove BILLIONS of dollars off their sheet because of Evergrand.
Now the big questions are, how far does Crypto crash before it skyrockets? Is it going to be like spring of 2020 where you could pick up BTC for much less than 10k? Or is 40-50K the bottom? |
| pca242 | 12-14-2021 12:48 PM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up I've been reading this thread for the past couple of months and I will share my thoughts.
BTC is money and a hard asset, it has perfected the properties of money since it was initially created. Gold is also layer one money but most of it is centrally controlled by governments.
Additionally, ETH is NOT money and is heavily centralized.
If you understand the historical differences between money and currencies it is very clear.
All currencies eventually go to their true value, which is ZERO.
What you have going on right now is currencies of countries literally hyper inflating against BTC.
Central Banks cannot stop printing or raise interest rates because the whole financial system would collapse.
Within the next year or so, I see BTC as a safe haven asset when then inventible collapse comes. This will make the price sky rocket.
The current inflation rate in the USA is probably around 20-25% right now.
The equities market is crashing upwards, meaning that you are not gaining much yield, it is only going up because they are debasing the currency at that rate.
You can look at property prices from this time last year to get a true measure of the inflation rate, not the under adjusted CPI numbers the government is throwing out.
The current price for BTC is very attractive and I would be buying heavy at these levels.
Hyperinflation is coming, scary times ahead.. protect yourself. |

Remember only a month ago they 'predicted' 80k?

-??,where have you been? The world is waiting for the Fed to tell us TODAY when and how much is tapering and the possible hike of interest rate next year, probably 2 hikes.
Thats why the markets are all tanking last few days | "Watch what they do, not what they say"
They aren't going to significantly going to raise rates, because they can't without crashing the economy.
That is why they have been talking about it, but not actually doing it.
They will let inflation run hot, eroding the purchasing power of your dollar or whatever currency you choose to save.
It is all perception my friend. |

| slokor | 12-15-2021 04:25 PM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up Loving what Im seeing on the ETH/BTC pair again.
Switched to ETH when it was under 0.08 And as expected it is up more than 3% now and climbing. 3% is not much if youre only $1k in. It is MUCH nicer if youve got a lot more in :)
Ill switch back when it hits 5% increase. Getting closer as I type. |

It is all perception my friend. | Bank of England Just did! The other central banks including USA FED most certainly will follow.
Amazing times! |

Amazing times! | Indeed. You see the US following through with all 3 hikes?
How do you see Omicron playing out (market wise) ? |
| slokor | 12-16-2021 04:50 PM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up Agent why do you bother with this thread?
Youre obviously not a fan and from your own words you do not invest in it and from your posts (which are mostly copy/paste) dont have a solid understanding on the fundamentals.
Why are you trying to come across as an expert and more importantly WHY are you trying to offer advice when you dont know much about the topic youre advising about??? |

It is all perception my friend. | This is the same info I been following for a while
Its all talk as they can't raise rates significantly
Right now the markets still believe the fed, and they have been, hence gold trading down/flat
Eventually the market will see the fed not increasing rates, and assets including gold will sore. Powell already got rid of the term transitional inflation, and gave us a rate increase plan for 2022.
Markets going to find out real soon (my guess 3-9 months) he can't do anything about inflation and we're off to the races |
| agent006140 | 12-17-2021 04:08 PM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up The Fed has already told us it will stop buying agency securities and raise rates in 2022,2023 and 2024.
Why do you think the stock market is tanking?
The stock market will have to adjust to a higher rate environment,it does not look like they are putting their money in cryptos. |
| glacier922 | 12-18-2021 05:39 AM | Re: Crypto Blowing Up My guess is usa is so corrupt, big corporations bribing the officials, they need interest rates at 0 percent so they can continue with their stock buy backs with basically free money, and also their leveraged buyouts of other companies for basically free. Think Microsoft buying LinkedIn with 0 percent interest rates, basically getting free printed dollars to buy another company, making a minimum monthly payment if at all, and hijacking another company. That's at least plays a part in why I think interest rates will stay at 0. |

In turn making the (typed in money) into REAL money that was earned by Microsoft and others with the hard work of the planets humans.
The government (the treasury) issues debt for the world to buy with their REAL money they earned breaking their a$$ at work. They collect interest for buying treasury's bonds (debt), that part IS printed! That's the scam!
The truth you bring up is our government is a bunch of criminals skimming off the top. That's why they don't mind having their secret Bitcoin accts. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:30 PM. | |
