You know where I stand on this.
I myself just made sure to sell enough to have the money needed to weather the coming recession - enough cash for the next couple of years at my living standard (which is fairly high... not trying to brag...). The rest I converted to a stablecoin (BUSD) and am waiting for it to go a bit further down so I can buy back in at a huge profit.
So as an investment tool it is an excellent one.
And dont tell the several countries that have already adopted or are currently in the process of adopting Bitcoin as legal tender that theres no use case and that it is only for scam purposes... guess theyre a bunch of fools.
I think AMZlevelup and agent should start a club for frustrated people who missed the train and prefer to just trash the crypto sector instead of try to jump onboard. Its getting to be a good time to do so now... last chance guys - all aboard!

I bet you thought the internet was a scam too.

Just look around the forum and see that people are buying ebay and amazon accounts with bitcoin. Also people are exchanging paypal funds for bitcoin. These tiny usecases are just the tip of the iceberg.

$10-12k BTC is possible. ETH is considered Junk by many experts but I feel it could double faster. You are not into trading so that may not be for you.

I think as more of the exchanges and junk coins go bust, Crypto will remain and go lower with a bunch of rallys and crashes for a while. At least a few months more.

The pain in the economy is barely starting. It looks like it is going to be a couple years, maybe longer.

I guess I'll put my $ into BTC then, just gonna wait till it goes down to around 15k.

It's so tempting right now because ETH is at or below 1k

I would consider physical Gold and/or silver too. Especially in the next couple years.

Paper gold and silver is an option to. Just make sure you sell when the prices get high enough for your acceptable profit. I would not try to time that market at all. But when it seems like it is pretty high, sell and dont worry about hitting record highs or leaving money on the table. Imagine if you sold your BTC at 50k last year? You could have easy 2X your holdings after taxes.

Just DCA in instead of trying to time the bottom. We won't know when it'll go down below 15k nor do we know if it will. I put in 1k at 17k and will continue to DCA in during this bear market.

Not trashing anything just stating my opinion on ETH and BTC and where i see future valuations going. I could be very wrong.

Is BTC a better investment now or when it was at 65k? I'm definitely not frustrated about missing that particular train. Or missing out on Luna going from $119 to near zero.

The countries that have adopted Crypto as legal tender are El Salvador and Central African Republic. Not exactly international finance powerhouses.

Will be interesting to see how it all plays out. But I think there's more pain ahead for true believers.

The internet had a use case from day one. As a medium of exchange BTC and ETH aren't great. Most people generally prefer something that doesn't have insane fees or fluctuates 10% a day.

Kevin o leary said the same thing and now he jumped the crypto band wagon.

Crypto is a different game than what they are playing. They are playing certainly and there's no such thing in Crypto .

Dont know what to make of the markets any more...
In the last week since the worst inflation figures in over 40 years were released last Wednesday which were quite a bit worse than expected (9.1% vs the expected 8.8%) Im only seeing the markets go up - and the crypto currencies leading the charge by dozens of percent increased. Now Im reading some so called 'experts' saying this rally could persist because 'the fear of fed interest hikes have eased'. I was under the impression that given the inflation figures from last week a full 100 basis point interest rate increase was now on the table - so what exactly eased here?
Maybe one of the experts (nate?) can pipe in and explain to me what in the hell is up with that? Trying to wrap my head around it and just not getting it.
