I feel sad too; it seems the crypto market is in the hands of a few people who can manipulate it whenever they want :(

Okay..... ALL markets were red this week. EVERYTHING. S&P, Crypto all of them.
BTC crashed to $95k from $120 in just 2 weeks.
So what do you guys think?
Bear trap and manipulation to flush more leveraged people then go back to near or even new ATH
or
This is the start of the bear market (since we closed below the 50 week ema)
Q4 right now is when we should not be asleep as crypto holders.
let's get talking

It's a good shake out !
I'm hoping for a good run up in December it can even start in the last week of November
BTC moved approx 21k within 10 days in Nov 2024.
We are still in a bullmarket I refuse to believe otherwise.

There’s a real concern that a few large holders (whales) have outsized influence. According to some sources, a small percentage of wallets holds a huge share of BTC.
If theydecide to sell, they can definitely trigger big drops (or at least contribute to volatility).
For me, I would say KEEP YOUR MENTAL HEALTH. For some institution-level players, BTC remains a strategic asset rather than just short-term speculation ;-)
So guys, what is your time-horizon? 1 year? 5 years? :-)

Everything right now is showing very bearish.

So guys, what is your time-horizon? 1 year? 5 years? :-) | Well I think right now a lot of people with diamond hands have held for 4, 8, 12 years. And Q4 2025 which is now is when we should be cashing out.

This is a bad dip but figure a rise to breakthrough after xmas.
Short traders are having a field day.

It makes no sense that alts haven't had a proper run (they sort of did in 2024) but since Jan this year they have been bleeding and trending downwards.
We will either see an amazing December 25 or something early Q1 next year, possibly Jan/Feb.

Charts and sentiments are all pointing to a bearish down trend.

China is not going to buy our Treasury instruments or US $ if they invade Taiwan, some do not want our US debt as it surpasses our annual GDP,we run a huge deficit.
Some large whales may have to liquidate their BItcoin holdings to pay bills,to spend or they find something more attractive than Bitcoin.
Gold and silver have a long history of being store of value, but Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is also too volatile to function as a currency?
Figure, you go and pay for a loaf of bread with Bitcoin,it could vary from the time you place it in your shopping cart to the time you check out?
This may sound rather petty, but I have yet to see any grocery store accepting Bitcoin, have you?May be in Ecuador?
I dont have any specific information on cryptos, but I follow other markets-gold,silver,bond,stock,real estate, copper.
All cryptos so far are just trading vehicles. |
It comes down to sentiments and manipulation from market makers right?
HOnestly, I see no fault on your thesis.
Well then, right now the BTC market has tanked 30% and the last 2 days dropped $10k just like that, it's back up 5% I think because of the fed call from Williams and bumped the dec rate cut to 73%.
The last cycles whenever we were in bear market, the dip were severe BUT we always got a relief rally, not to previous ATH but maybe around 20-25% from the violent dip.
Do you think we'll get that rally and soon considering it's been WAY oversold and ridiculous at this point
?

Others disagree.who knows ? | Tom lee and Saylor to me are like cramer.... If they say it's good, expect it's terrible. If they say it's bad, then it's actually good.
I don't believe what Tom Lee said about the glitch.
The narrative on media is strong.....
