They charge very high because it is a risky transaction. Be carful, scams are quite frequent...

Services and fees always change, try a simple google search or aggregator. Also research that service to make sure its not a scam.

Dont buy more than you can lose.

Dont expect to find anyone who will sell you BTC for paypal with low fees. The risk involved in such a transaction is massive for the BTC seller so the fees will be accordingly high.

There are a lot of services out there. However, I would check the marketplace here. Better to obtain some from a place you're a member in.

A peer-to-peer trade is usually the best option if you can find appropriate rates

Otherwise, cashing out fiat from your Paypal account and then using that to buy BTC would be the other option

Paypal is offering BTC for uk and usa paypal account, but they are not real Bitcoin though.
