what do i invest in?!
 

Hi, i have a few thousand to invest, but have no idea where to start, especially since covid is still looming!

Any advice is welcome, i have looked at bitcoin and etherum so far, are they worthy investments (i have around 5k to spare and would'nt mind a sub-decent return).

Just buy more stock / goods to sell.

Xmas time is the best time to reload on inventory ... Loads of discounts everywhere with suppliers

Don't get sucked into crypto ... It all looks like gambling to me.

If I were you, I won't invest in crypto at the moment and wait till it falls again.
As we can't be sure when the fall happen, best I can think of is to purchase mutual funds and swipe from large cap to mid cap and again mid cap to large cap using 80%-20% strategy.

basic crypto is easy to follow but theres a lot of gambling in the defi markets.

Can also look into P2P secured loan services OP but stocks, mutual funds work with some research

both gold and crypto are going higher,but there will be pull back with Bitcoins since it runs up so much and so fast,gold is safer right now.
I just bought some gold at a good price,watch what happens after Xmas is over,there should be sellers marking down their price.
Even now,they are willing to accept offers,this Xmas is not like past Xmas,lots of people have no money to buy food,do some research,take your time,look for quality items at bottom price on EBAY

You don't have much to invest in Bitcoin. It is best to invest money in a whole bitcoin, which you can buy for 50 thousand dollars because this way you can earn much more than you will collect piece by piece. If you have a small budget, you should look at dogecoin or another inexpensive and not-so-popular cryptocurrency. When I had only ten thousand dollars, I gave all the money for a Vaffa token, which was worth much less a year ago than it is now. But remember, any investment in cryptocurrency and such a project is a considerable risk! I wish you luck.

You can go with XRP or ADA. Dogecoin is also a good one to invest.

ADA is probably one of the best growing. Solana also has alot of potential. Most blockchains with smart contracts and NFTs are a good look.

if you do not want to do your own research,some funds are pretty conservative and the management is good at picking stocks,GAM is one good example.
It is a closed end fund,so it sells FOR less than its NAV.
There is also another- FAX which invest in foreign companies and government debt either in their local currency or US $,FEES are higher as it takes more research work,it gives you a check each month.
If you believe rates will never rise in USA,then these investments yielding 3% aint too bad,-countries like Australia,Singapore,HK,China !!

The best investment at the moment IMHO is penis NFT's. Like this one here by Minimal Cocks... Or this one here named PeePeeBoy #16. You could probably scoop up PeePeeBoy#16 for 0.5 ETH right now... & sell it next month of like 869 ETH

XRP, VET, SHIB, ADA, XLM are all good starting points.

Some cryptos offer more utility and have bigger chances for global adoption. They're the ones you should keep an eye on.

It seems to me that now there is no point in investing money in bitcoin or crypto because there is a very large percentage that you can lose a lot of money.

You can lose money in any investment. It's not just limited to crypto.
Al though, you may lose a substantial amount in the crypto space but the same goes with the gains.
