Buying Crypto to make profit Wallet or Stock?

I'm just now diving in. I did some searching just have a few questions. So to make a profit which is best to do? Like buying and holding in a wallet or buying and holding as a stock? For example Dogecoin can buy as a stock on Robinhood but can't hold in a Coinbase wallet. So am I suppose to open up all these other apps and wallets? Lets say with the hype of Dogecoin and the stock market is closed but I can buy with my wallet am I making the same profit?

Ok thanks for an answer. But to ask the question again stick to BTC and ETH. I buy stock or wallet? Does it matter? Coinbase or Robinhood or both?

Small amounts its probably fine to do Robinhood

But for larger amounts, I would say buy on Gemini or Cashapp and then store on a Trezor hardware wallet

Those 2 usually have lower fees than Coinbase. Robinhood is trading BTC futures, not actually holding the asset

Good time to be DCA right now, I don't think the downturn will last longer than a week

Since crypto trading is 24/7, a week is a long long time

Only think of this IF you are in a zen state...calm.

J/K. Keep the faith if you try this formula.

Just FYI....

Coinbase is certainly well known. That does not mean it is the best.
There is a long list of people known to me that had dramas with coinbase.

And my best drama was having an account closed....nice Christmas that year from coinbase. (As bad as pay pal & ebay

Humor me and make an effort to check them out. That’s what I think you maybe should consider.

Cheers
