Hi, is anyone else aware of the anti dumping tariffs set by the US government on furniture imports.

From what I am aware its 60%

Dumping, in economics, is a kind of injuring pricing, especially in the context of international trade. It occurs when manufacturers export a product to another country at a price below the normal price with an injuring effect.

Haven't heard of that practice or the protective tax that resulted until now. Is it having an impact on you?

A protective tax applied to imports when a foreign company imports products way below market value in an attempt to monopolize the domestic market. Balances things out so domestic manufacturers are able to compete.

Ya, yikes, 25% bumped up to 60% if deemed undervalued? Then 60% tax based on market value? No beuno O.o
