Shipping Settings for Dropshipping on eBay
I have recently added "DropShip" items to my online store. I was considering listing a few on eBay to see if they would sell. Everywhere that I've read says that eBay allows dropshipping, as long as the item gets there within 30 days of the purchase and it's on time according to the shipping time specified in your listing. The problem is, the slowest shipping option when listing on eBay is 2-9 days. I have in my description that it may take 2-4 weeks. How can I make the Shipping time match this? |

2-9 days makes sense if you are shipping from a US warehouse.
Overseas sellers like the CHinese can say 30 days /
where is your item coming from?Mars? |

I've moved past this now, but info is still key. As I stated, eBay rules say that you can drop ship, but as long as the item gets there within 30 days of the purchase. But, they only give you an option as high as 2-9 days. Meaning that if it takes over 9 days, it will be marked as late, even though they say that it must be there within 30 days. Makes no sense. |

| Ebay and paypal hate drop-shippers right now. I would proceed with caution if you are contaminating good standing ebay accounts with adding drop-shipping to them. |

Ebay does allow drop shipping if you have a contract with each vendor. If you are doing arbitrate then they don't. Also, within a few months of uploading tracking showing you are shipping from multiple zip codes ebay will drop you in Best Match to the bottom. Finally, if you products come from outside the US and you don't state that, then you will get suspended for that.

if you state items are in USA ,then why does it take 30 days to arrive?
30 days is US FTC rule for mail order business,most mail order houses do not charge your cc unless it is ready to ship in 24 hours/
If you are selling on Ebay and state the items are in USA and buyers are paying you via paypal,you are expected to ship promptly,2-9 days would be for USPS first class,USPS priority or private carriers.
you are just setting yourself up for disputes if it takes 30 days .
dropshipping is fine if it is from your wholesaler,manufacturer and distributor,not AMZN.com,jet.com,costco.com.wmt.com,home depot.com,wayfair.com,these are retailers which compete with Ebay |

You cant,if you say the item location is USA.
say it is from Mars or Jupiter and see how Ebay handles it.
Ebay buyers are notorious bad readers,they dont read 2-4 weeks,they expect same day delivery like AMZN prime. |
