Dropshipping & Amazon

I dropship on eBay, and have had some succes, but was wondering if dropshipping would be better on Amazon as I know Amazon is way more bigger than eBay?

Re: Dropshipping & Amazon

1. Cant have invoices included by seller other than yourself.

2. Has to be fulfilled by a third party, like a warehouse, that you possibly own or pay to keep/ship inventory.

Beyond that, cant help.

If you do retail arbitrage the rules are much more strict on amazon than on eBay so you need to really have a set supplier . If you can keep your metrics up - then yes amazon would be better than eBay as they have much more traffic . I know people that are able to sell millions a year on amazon with the help of a lot of VAs .

yes I wondered about that VA thing, wonder about the benefits of doing the research manually as opposed to software.

I don’t have any experience with doing FBA at the moment so I really don’t know . However many people have said that it is easier to keep your metrics up with FBA than retail arbitrage .

dont do it, amazon does not like dropshipping and will ask you for invoices of your supplier. then will suspend your account n not reimburse your money

AMZN offers FBA,but then you have to stock up at its warehouses.thats not dropshipping.

FBA requires capital outlay

Fullfillment by yourself -if you dont have much merchandise, why not your closet, garage, living room, bedroom, under the bed, dining table.shoe box.
Unless you dont have the money to stock up.

You can do dropshipping from Online Retailers with Amazon, its against their policy and people get banned for it, that being said it is a business model that has a lot of success as well. As long as you follow not listing brands which have been known to list complaints - OAgenius and Webscraperapp both have lists with 1000+ brands, and this protects you decently, and also maintaining great metrics and making sure everything is out on time and keeping up with customers. If you dropship from online retailers try to find ones that dont incldue invoices for example webscraperapp supports a website called https://www.cleanitsupply.com/ they dont include invoices with their orders at all, and im sure the boxes they use dont really have any kind of indication of where it came from like walmart or target etc. this is much more discreet and safe.

do OAgenius and Webscraperapp actually have the products or they just use your money to place orders with the likes of COSTCO,WMT?
SO MANy middleman, how do you turn a profit

retail arbitrage is a big NO NO on AMZN and Ebay.

Is it possible to dropship items from different suppliers to FBA and then Amazon sends it to customers?

and how profitable can it be?

some merchandise,it is not possible to stock all styles and models,so dropshipping from the manufacturers should be fine .
Manufacturer, whole distributors are dropshipping, buying from another retailer after receiving money from customer is retail arbitrage

Depends on what you are stocking,
picking up the right kind of merchandise at a wholesale price ,you can make a decent profit selling retail, thats what most brick and mortar retailers do.
But then it does require you to have some capital.but you have the advantage of not having to pay store rent, utilities, insurance, and shoplifting

Definitely - and which platform do you prefer?

You get better shoppers on AMZN,as many are prime members who buy often and they are looking for new items, and willing to pay for the convenience.

If you buy from factory/wholesaler/distributor ,you can make a profit, but not as much as before
.
You have t o avoid those items where your wholesaler is also selling on the same venue, how can you compete with your wholesaler.
There are some items you can beat the wholesalers, like gold jewelry.

It is easier because Amazon will take credit more 99% of the negative feedback/customer service part. As long as you are shipping in the correct items but the long term storage fees are ridiculous.

dropshipping on amazon is totally cool and they have no problem with it at all. Retail arbitrage is what they dont like and they will shut you down and most likely not return any funds they are holding of yours :( although some do it successfully it is indeed tough.

yes it is nice place for dropshipping too. Amazon is more strict - sellers do not like dropshippers. However it is still nice place and have much more opportunities

Amazon promotes FBA cuz that where they make money. Dropshipping is definetly not their favourite approach.

Amazon gets to know that your are dropshipping mainly from customers who are frustrated. They mention stuff about the package and receipt in their messages. Also, when you are processing returns. The system can also see that your shipments are coming from all over the place none of which correspond with your address

I keep getting suspended for dropshipping violation.

Amazon is saying you can convert your inventory to FBA.

Is it possible to dropship items from different suppliers to FBA and then Amazon sends it to customers?

is it possible to dropship each item to FBA and then they ship to customers. Is that something Amazon will accept as they converted all my inventory to FBA

Re: Dropshipping & Amazon

I think it was the return address that led to suspension, my ship from location was UK and return address in the US.

They disabled my merchant fulfilled inventory and telling me you can convert them to FBA.

Is it possible to dropship each order I receive to FBA and then they ship to customers. Is that something Amazon will accept?
