World wide brands

Anybody familiar with worldwidebrands.com? I heard it was a "superior" marketplace to find wholesale suppliers and not "sleezy Chinese wholesalers." I think I am going to give it a try even though it costs like $97. I figure it's worth it if I can find a good US supplier. I would rather buy from someone in the US rather than China anyday.

Let me know if anyone has any experience with this site. Thanks.

proudpapa4 08-10-2009 01:39 PM

I though the cost for WWB was $290 something dollars? I'd like to hear from other members as well.

aking 08-10-2009 06:23 PM

wow, i thought i saw $97 on the site.

ebay 08-11-2009 11:19 AM

for $300 is it any good ?

aking 08-11-2009 11:25 AM

Entering Worldwide Brands Site

I guess it is $300. I'm gonna do some research on it. So far, I've seen nothing but positive about WWB. $300 is steep, but I'll pay it if I find more good reviews. They take paypal but the way.:thumb:

ebay 08-11-2009 11:56 AM

if it gives legit supplier it is well worth the $300

is anyone on the forum used them before ?

proudpapa4 08-11-2009 12:42 PM

I've heard nothing but good things about it however I personally have not used it. However the stealth ebook lists it #1 under suppliers and wholesalers.

ebay 08-11-2009 12:45 PM

You're gonna have to elaborate on that one bud. You're the only one that's given a bad review about this site...

ebay 08-11-2009 02:35 PM

 LoL, that's just it. I'm not gonna pay $300 for "crap." What do you mean by crap? Like, non name brand items? Stuff that won't sell on ebay?

Quite Frankly, I find it hard to believe that a site with 8000+ wholesale suppliers is crap...am I missing something?

ebay 08-11-2009 02:54 PM

give it a go then mate !
you'll find out exactly what a waste of money it is

newdenim 08-11-2009 06:37 PM

How is it a waste of money? It says on the website "satisfaction guaranteed or your money back"!

Vicvelcro 08-11-2009 08:45 PM

I remember looking into the place about a year ago. Maybe year and a half.

I found all kinds of blog posts where people were fawning all over it. I dug deeper and searched wider. Turned out the fawners were pipedreamers that had not actually been to the place yet and were parroting a bunch of empty hype.

The guy that started the thing is a former ebay seller. Mostly vaporware. He's a cross between an Amway figurehead and a televangelist.

The vast majority of goods are exactly what ebay said. Crap. If you can sell it, you can sell icecubes to eskimos and snake milk to chickens.

The place is genuine. He's got stuff. It's all safe to list. You spend money to join, you get what you pay for. It's just crap.

So how can you say state "it's a load of crap". Did you just purchase it? You were able to evaluate it in that short amount of time?

ebay 08-12-2009 10:47 AM

purchased it and put a claim for my money back from paypal

proudpapa4 08-12-2009 10:49 AM

Thanks for the info vic and ebay!

philly387 08-12-2009 10:53 AM

Well you could also purchase it and try it out...and get a refund if you don't like it. The only way to try it.

Burning 08-17-2009 11:28 AM

I tried wwb and I did not like it due to the fact they did not even have the product I was looking for which is very popular. All there item's are over priced, I had better experience with alibaba which is free. You can try it yourself and just request a refund. That is what I did. They sent me a refund next day.

What should we tell them to get refund?

vetus 12-27-2009 11:47 AM

Tell them it's crap :)
