I'm in the same boat as OP, but I plan to make it using a service like legalzoom or someone else who can setup LLC with full legitimacy.

So far I have been hearing from people that a foreigner must be present/visit the bank in order to open an account, no matter if he has a company in the US.

Do you know anything other than this or have any source that can open a bank account on behalf of the owner of LLC?

Sorry, I stopped following this thread I guess.

I don't think it would be very hard for OP to go into an international bank that operates in both Turkey and USA with his US business details, and open a US business bank account. That's what the Chinese do through HSBC (I've seen a HK company using BoA also but IDK how they did that) in order to accept US domestic wire payments.

It's not something I would be able to give you the details on since I'm operating within the USA, but going by what I've seen over the past few years, it's possible.

If you're going to be using legalzoom it's probably something they would be able to help you with. Or at least guide you in the right direction.

Moral of the story is that it's definitely possible for you to open a US business bank account from outside of the USA, and long as you have all of your paperwork in order beforehand.

Some foreign companies open US bank accounts and encourage their US customers to make payment into that account to hide the sales proceeds from the local tax authority.
Or their country is in political and/or financial turmoil,and their currency is depreciating fast !
India as far as I know has capital control,an Indian merchant cannot merrily ship out an export order until he proves he has received the sales proceeds in a local (Indian ) bank account/
Some countries,you need an export license .

HSBC is a British bank,although many think it is a HK bank.
Back in the 1980s,it bought Marine Midland and turned it into a HSBC bank,I dont know if it is still true these days.
HK merchants ,many are US college educated and have greencards so they could open a US bank account ,they are also known to buy CA real estate .
But US tax law requires residents to file income tax return,I dont think it is to their advantage to hold on to their green card unless they claim they have no income?
