A U.S. Court has directed eBay to freeze my account.
 

Hi everyone,
I'm newbie and just started drop shipping for several month,
Today I received this email from eBay :

[Hello,

Your payouts are currently on hold because your eBay payment account is restricted. A U.S. Court has directed eBay to freeze your account. Please reach out to plaintiff’s attorney at attorney@vogtip.com for more information and to resolve the matter.

Court: U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois
Plaintiff: Khara and Groundworks
Trademark/Copyright/Patent at issue: Neon Genesis Evangelion
Court Case Title: 24-cv-4203; Khara Inc and Groundworks v. The Partnerships and Unincorporated Associations Identified on Schedule “A”

eBay did not decide to freeze your account, it was ordered to do so by a judge. Please understand that eBay cannot release this freeze on your payouts until we receive instructions from the plaintiff’s attorney, or we receive a copy of a notice of dismissal or satisfaction of judgment that has been filed with the court. This matter must be resolved with plaintiff’s attorney or defended in court. Plaintiff’s attorney can be contacted at the above email address. An attorney can explain to you how to defend the lawsuit in court.
If you have not heard from plaintiff’s attorney after 5 days, we will be happy to request they respond to you. If you need us to reach out, please contact VeRO@ebay.com.

second,what is the item?
third,have you shipped the item?

It is unlikely that a court will order eBay to freeze your funds, perhaps it could be some kind of mistake or a new kind of scam

Of course it's not a scam, this issue has been raised many times on this forum - you've even posted on some of the threads.

As far as eBay are concerned it's a legitimate VeRo complaint. The account is dead.

Do not reach out to the lawyers, they will try and fleece you for a fee. They have absolutely no intention of trying to re-instate your account.

At the risk of repeating myself, do not make any contact with the lawyer, nothing more will come of it.

Time to start again.

Yes, that's right, the lawyers will not be able to do anything and if you want to do it, that process can take a long time.

Yes, I've been confirmed after loggin into my account and all my payment is onhold and my Payoneer account has been freeze.
Item is the figure model I've drop shipping from China, I attached the link below for your reference, I don't know why it's happen to only me, I've done research and see many listing was active on eBay but seem some word at my listing caught their attention.

Item has been sold for 4-5 months ago, I've contact their Attorney and received reply email like this:

Hello Seller,

We are currently waiting for data in this case.

Please circle back to us via this email chain in 1-2 weeks for an update.

I know my account is dead now, beside I have many order not ship yet and more than $600 on hold.

I never ever been in US before, but this account under my name and can you let me know what happen with me if I just ignore the US court, will I be sanction to visit US after that. I'm trying to build a business with brand then now I have to face this, I have many order to fullfill also , so now I must start from begining

Thanks very much, I've been thinking to start again. In fact I've already another eBay account that use with another laptop but same Internet router. My last account not yet got suspend, can you recommend what I need to be carefully when my last account get suspend
