Bluecare Express Tracking Banned!! Solutions?
 

On Thursday, June 6th, eBay sent out an email to all sellers reporting that beginning July 8th, eBay won't support Bluecare Express and Aquiline as verified carriers anymore.

This is clearly directed towards Amazon to eBay dropshippers who use the services above to convert TBA tracking numbers into verified tracking numbers with tracking history for their orders.

My take on why this happened:
eBay hinted at Item not received cases in the widespread email, potentially indicating as one of the main reasons for the change in policy. From my experience, "Item not received" cases where the original tracking number (pre-BCE conversion) is a TBA are not uncommon. This is often because Amazon is known for leaving packages in exposed areas, increasing the risk of theft/misplacement.

Why do they want to be different so bad? Just leave it in the mailbox like a normal delivery courier...I digress.

Solutions I've been thinking about:
- Use other suppliers
This one's rather simple. Walmart and Target have great selection and low prices. Additionally, services like Walmart Plus and Target 360 provide free shipping on lower-priced items, similar to Amazon Prime. You don't even need to abandon Amazon, simply dilute your orders with various suppliers to mitigate cases where you receive a TBA tracking number.

- Alter delivery addresses on Amazon
I've noticed Amazon sometimes ships through USPS, UPS and FedEx when they can't verify a delivery address. Making subtle changes to an address is an option to mitigate receiving TBA tracking numbers, although it's inconsistent as Amazon will sometimes ship through TBA even though they can't verify the delivery address. Example: 123 John Street v. i123 John Street

Other solutions (not a fan):
- Track Taco
Some dropshippers use the Track Taco service to get supplemental tracking numbers. I'm personally not a fan cause you're inputting a tracking number that is not tied to your order; can confuse and frustrate customers.

- QTrack?
Recently saw AutoDS mention this service in a video as an alternative to BCE, but you can't get Top Rated status when you use it? They don't really go in depth about why, seems sus. I need to look into it more as I don't have much information.

- Upload TBAs?
Although Amazon Logistics tracking is a verified shipping carrier, tracking history doesn't show when you upload a TBA tracking to an eBay order. Am re-testing this method with fresh orders to see if they've since changed this now that BCE and Aquiline aren't going to be supported anymore.

Starting a discussion here as I think there's good information and insight to be shared to help dropshippers adjust to this change and continue running their stores optimally.

Ebay does not like retail arbitrrage and this is one way to tackle the problem,most shipments are delivered to the buyer,whether it is Blue care or UPS or USPS.
If you think using TGT or WMT as your supplier,you should search this forum of an AMZN seller who uploaded WMT tracking and her sales proceeds have been restricted by AMZN.
Will Ebay do the same with WMT,TGT,Costco,Sam,Wayfair tracking?

The issue with TBA tracking is that only the person who placed the order on Amazon can view the tracking history, and this can only be done from within their account when signed in. No one else, including eBay and our customers, can verify if the product is in transit or delivered.

TBA tracking is specific to Amazon's in-house delivery service. Other retailers like Walmart and Target typically use USPS, UPS and FedEx for delivery so you wouldn't run into the same issues when using them as suppliers.

Some Ebay sellers sell on AMZN as well and use AMZN warehouse and AMZN shipping,so they need to clear with Ebay ,Blue Care should be fine for them.
As for WMT,it does not like to be your supplier,if it notices you are shipping to too many different addresses,it could cancel your account,it has happened to someone here

It is a recurring problem now, I imagine it will be solved soon, or so I want to think.

There is a law ,one cannot use the mail box for non USPS MAIL,it is considered property of USPS,which is an agent of the US government.
Also in some cases,one have no access to the mail box if it is locked and only USPS personel has the key to open these mail boxes

Blue Care is manned by non or ex AMZN employee,it handles more than just AMZN mail.
USPS also handles AMZN,UPS and Fed Exp last mile package deliveryand get paid for doing so. .

this is bull**** as whole autods softwoare
cant do manually and qtrack is not accepted on ebay (atrleast not UK)

Recent article said AMZN is expanding into more rural areas and prefer to use their own shipping service.
