How do you buy from wholesale?

Make sure you research and communicate with the supplier of those sites before buying. For what most people would call a legitimate wholesale business you would need a license and tons of money to invest.

Hollywoodbodyjewelry.com is where I started. They have plenty of choices which aren't to expensive and you could even do some drop shipping with the more expensive real jewelry they got on there. Well not exactly drop shipping but, you can post the expensive item in question on eBay for a profit and if it sells buy it on the website than send it to the buyer once it gets to your house. It's a bit risky, but I never had to much problems doing it.

i advise you find somebody as your partner in china to make sure you buy from real wholesale.One of my client paid for goods but got nothing,if he has partner in china,i think he will avoid such risk

I'm sure a lot of people who have contacts in china agree with this. Having a chinese partner you can trust, is crucial to running a successful wholesaling business.

Anybody every take a trip to china to source out products right from the factories?

What kind of products will you wholesale?

I visited some factories there; many GOOD products are ordered by BIG NAME companies from USA and EURO. So you have no access to such popular goods.

All other products are in low quality, and they are often sold to Africa, Asia, South America.

It is not easy to find high-quality non-counterfeit big-name products in China..

you will spend at least $4000 to take a trip from US to China,if you spend this money on a chinese partner,he will work 120% hard for you.$4000 is worth that.In this way,what you need to do is pay for goods and waiting for goods,you don't worry scam,don't worry quality,don't worry forward,it become so easy with a help of a chinese partner.
US market needs good quality and many certificatons,so,it is more difficult to find a good factory as supplier.But I know who make OEM for Ipad accessory,make mouse for HAMA,make speakers for Gembird...I have enough experience and enough business source to get the real OEM factory of big company.

OEM factory of big companies will produce same quality products for you?

Will the big companies keep an eye on that?

Most of the time they will if you ask them.

The only time that they won't is when they are Making something for a Company that Has some type of "Patented" Technology Like the "Click wheel" on Apple Ipods.

I could not agree you any more,As a supplier,i have the same opinion with you,as i met a lot of customers who from oversea,and we talk to each other face to face,and we can know a lot from each other,and this is very serious way for do business,and we also can build friendship as we dinner together,and they do not need to worry anthing when they go back usa,as we will work hard for all the order they gave or they will make.

If you have stayed in this field long enough,you will know that.I worked in a factory who make OEM for big brand,they are not busy everyday,they must have enough order to meet their production demand.More order promised their benefit.
