In addition to the ones above EBSilk.com has never let me down.

Tradetang is also a good place. Globalsource, alibaba are both nice places to find suppliers but you have to watch out like any other place.

tradetang it seems like more expensive then other plcaes.

You don't have to sell phakes. You can find other products, I found a reliable computer supplier from there..

Can anyone from China point some of us in the right direction on where to go look for some of the items? Anyone to contact or places to visit? Can't really just fly to a Hong Kong and expect to find stuff randomly....unless that is the best way?

tootoomart.com is a site in chinese. For those who don't read chinese, good luck making any sense of it.

Basically, don't bother asking anyone here about good sources. Anybody who has a good source isn't going to share it. People share the crap sources to misdirect n00b sellers into getting bent over, thus eliminating the n00b seller from becoming a potential competitor.

If you want some other suggestions that are equally bad, how about liquidation.com, madeinchina.com, tradekey.com ...

Hmmm. That's weird that it shows in chinese to you. I just went to it and everything showed in english. I even checked and there was no translator on.

Guys, I want to give you the heads up on something, i just want you to know that DHGate has a "Partner" program. This means that If I for example join, DHGate will create a website for me ( It will look almost IDENTICAL to DHGate, with some "Minor" Changes) then I get a "Markup" and promote the site, I get a precentage of the DHGate commision for all sales on the site, so a lot of these "China Wholesale" sites are actually more expensive versions of DHGate.

So in Essence, If it looks Like DHGate, it probally is

Tradetang.com is another good one which is alot similar to dhgate providing escrow but better search results since recently dhgate took alot of popular vero items out of their search engine, for example: gucci, tiffany & co., adobe don't show up on dhgate anymore but will on tradetang so I like to use both.

now china side is stickly for selling vero software.That is why they remove the listing so many recently.

tootoomart is a nightmare!

I ordered 3 things all at the same time from them and my packages were all damaged and broken the sellers hardly speak any english. I had to go threw 2 disputes threw tootoomart themselves to get some of my money back and for the other order i had to go threw paypal. They are just a total nightmare.

Ali Expess is another good one ecpecially in the feedback profiles you can see the item the buyer is leaving feedback for just like on ebay also it intigrates with Vendio.

Aliexpress is a good place but there dispute process is horrendous, they always side with the seller. I bought laptops and returned them back since one of them arrived damaged. I shipped it back via priority mail when I was in the USA. I never received a partial refund and there dispute team were basically holding me off until the dispute windows was closed. I had to open a charge back via credit card and now everything is in there hands!

So aliexpress just is platform for trading,there are many different good or bad products on it.

I use AliExpress all the time, my experience with them is to only deal with suppliers with positive feedback of course and they are much more reliable then just using Alibaba.

I agree w ali express, the escrow system is good. Also dh gate, global sources.

Taobao is good, just use google translate or babelfish.
