Global Sources anyone?
 

Manufacturers: Global Sources is this website good to buy from? I been talking to some suppliers and they were willing to send me samples and also invited me to visit their factories..

I was wondering if it's safe to deal with sellers here? At the moment they seem legit but I am vary cautious person.

The items I want to buy are NOT VeRo.. They are flooring supplies. ^_^:mod:

its just a site like alibaba.com, anyone can register on there and become a supplier, just like that. You would have to evaluate the individual seller. Side note: if you are talking to chinese suppliers they always say you can visit their factory, most of the suppliers dont have factories and are just traders, which is fine, but I just find it cute how most of them are predictable with their "routines".

Really, if it's like alibaba then you have to really watch it...and what methods are they accepting?

There are many ways to deal with them if you want to buy,here are some suggestions for your reference:

1. You go to visit the factory by yourself,so you can check everything by yourself if you got the enough time .

2. You can hire some local company or person(you can say agent) to inspect for you .

3. You can pay some deposit and then ask the inspection company to inspect the goods ,get the inspection reports.And then tell the supplier send you all the copy of shipping doucments,such as B/L,PL,CI,CO.

4. You can deal with them by LC payment,of cource you have to take some samples to test firstly.

There are some more ways to do ,you can do more searching .
