@jeffweico - no, the dvds wre not defective, neither was it xmas....besides what kinda of a monster do you think i am?! - if the dvds don't work i would of course refund, that was not the problem. the problem was that buyers could not get their head around the fact that the dvd said region1 on it even though i explained that the disc was region free. they wanted region2 with the hologram. As usual, the buyers want 100% authentic for maybe 33% nof the RRP - i.e. cloud cuckoo land ..... | Pending, I wasn't commenting on your actions, just using it as an example. My point is that for people considering selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗, some are bound to cause more problems than others.
I apologizr if you thought I was personally insuting you, that was not my intention. |
| teedon | 08-29-2010 11:06 PM | Now ebay will know the dvds are copy if you say the dvds are region free. And only original disney dvds come with the hologram,so you had better list this content saying your disney not the hologram for your product and then you may avoid your customer complaint for this . |
| pending | 08-30-2010 05:51 AM | i didn't say they were region free in the listing, i l know that is a red flag....just when i explained to buyers afterwards, thanks for tip though and thanks jeffweico for understanding. always on the look for new no problem things to resell.... |
| pending | 09-02-2010 12:12 PM | @teedon, why are you so determined to make out i am/was some kind kind of retard over this ?! Obviously in the listing i did not mention they were region free, only in subesequent messages from unhappy buyers....this was all on play.com anyway but yes i know stating region free in the listing is a big no-no. I would also suggest though that saying non-hologram was a bad idea too as any disney vero people are going to read that and have your listing removed. Disney don't make non-hologrammed dvds do they? |

Anybody sell Disney DVD's on Amazon successfully? I think I remember somebody saying it's difficult. I been selling various DVD tv show seasons with no problems on amazon but I wanted to check here before making an order for them. | i have sold hundreds of dvds on amazon including Disney, amazon is like ebay they watch you closely for the first 30 days, start selling other items first then make sure you make a withdrawal from them before starting to list more heavily with the Disney dvd's |

I haven't yet tried selling Disney DVD's on Amazon, although I sold lots of them on eBay, along with TV Show Box Sets. I've been thinking of trying Amazon now that eBay suspended me, but for some reason, Amazon scares me a little! Do you do well there? I'd love to hear anyones suggestions for Amazon... | there is a lot more money to be made on amazon than ebay, especially selling dvds its a lot more easier selling there too, but if you start start very slowly, you cannot withdraw for the first 2 weeks of starting selling, build it up slowly tell you are selling hundreds a day |
| ebaydropship | 09-04-2010 11:20 PM | one of my friend sold music CD on ebay well . every CD have 3-10 USD profit and every day he can sell about 20-50 pieces . EBAYA pay more attention to Dvd. You really cant sell DVD for long time . |
| jerseykat1 | 11-18-2010 07:45 AM | are you guys selling on amazon as a pro seller where you can create your own listings? or are you just selling the same items that other sellers are selling. i thought about getting into amazon just wasn't sure if i should go pro or not. |
| holymoly | 12-04-2010 05:56 PM | Disney DVDs, and DVDs in general are heartache and more problems sometimes than VER0. |

| bork_bork | 01-28-2011 08:26 AM | I have bought a few samples from a supplier in China. I bought a few TV seasons that I already own and let me tell you I really can't find any difference on most. |
Make sure you have backups for Am az on if you are peddling DVDs - accounts go down on the regular. |

You have to look really closely, word per word, most likely you will find one or two grammatical errors. |
Not to mention that, even tho it may LOOK perfect, many f ake dvds will skip, freeze, or simply just not play. Its a risk, for sure. |
