How long Alibaba refund take?
 
Things got ugly between me and my seller tonight,
I put the dispute in tonight,has been over a month on my order,
Since then i have received 3 or more other ems packages from them,
They said the product was not in china or usa,
So i asked where was it at? they could not answer me,
At one point they would not even talk to me for days at a time,
I put the dispute in they said they disagree on it,
I told them fine, my credit card company will deal with it,
Time i got off the phone with the credit card company tonight,
They got the Alibaba refund processing going to refund me,
Anyone know how long that takes?
I called back the credit card company and told them what happened,
They told me to go ahead and dispute it in case the company backs out,
I have been using this company for a good while from China,
Good thing i found a replacement 2 weeks ago,
Wont be doing any more business with companies you pretty much have to threaten to get your money back,
I told them if the package shows up ill pay for it, i am a honest person,
This every happen to anyone else before,
My last package from them has been stuck in customs for 2 days now since 2010-12-20 07:26:00,
Saying handed over to customs in San Fransisco, hope it makes it out customs after what happened tonight,

If you have been doing business with them for awhile and they continued to send and you continued to receive maybe it was just a lost shipment and not their fault nor yours....half the time its some 16yr old girl over there brokering stuff out her apartment for a factory down the street cause they have no one that speaks english. Odds are she doesn't know what to do and doesn't want to loose her job if you still get stuff from them ok I would not burn that bridge over one package....shoot loosing one package should be worked into the business plan....if its not the ebay customers taking from you its a risk on a china shipment....

Not saying your position is not valid I have had that feeling before where I told myself I was never going to use a supplier again then ending up doing a decent amount of business with them for whatever reason down the road.

From my experience, I've never had much luck in trying to get a refund, they always reshipped the package or I had to just get my cc company to refund me first and let them handle it (this includes paypal and alibaba/aliexpress).

China's all about money and they'd prefer to lose an arm or a leg than to give your money back.

Most recent example is I had about a $900 order get stuck in customs, I was hesitant to reship the order since it was the holidays and from what I've heard, they beefed up security. I requested a refund, but they offer to reship or give me 50% back. Well that didn't fly too well with me as I wasn't about to lose $450 just for nothing, but since I've been working with this supplier for a while I offered an alternative solution in that they would credit me 75% toward my next order in which I'll place after the holidays. They didn't like that and insisted on only giving me 50% back. So, I had no other choice but to go to my cc company, put in a claim for the full amount and let them deal with it.

Long story short, got all my money back, but burned a bridge...so we'll see about working with them in the future. Either way, I've already found another supplier to order from.

i hear you i think i am done with my current seller,
Anyone know if customs is even working these days?
I have had mine going inbound into customs since December 20th,
Know that is not to long but this is the longest time for me,
Rest of all my packages have been in and out around 2 days or less,

Should be, I've had a few orders come through this week...but they're not vero/brand name items though...

They might just be backed up cause of the increase in holiday orders.

Funny thing is the day before i had one go in and out of customs,
On December 19th no problems and just took a few hours,
Maybe they got backed up all of sudden,
The thing is its a package from the seller i had to get money back from,
So i am sure i will have to dispute if anything happened to this one,

I was buying jersey and the package still says sitting in china from dec1st,
Foreign International Dispatch, December 01, 2010, 9:44 am, GUANGZHOU EMS, CHINA PEOPLES REP
Origin Post is Preparing Shipment has been like that since then,
I called my bank and they refunded me over the charges,
Plus Alibaba refunded me the money as well,
So the bank caught this and took there money back, which if fine with me,
I quit using this supplier once they told me now it is not there fault
if something is lost and wont refund or send new,
Since i have found 2 new suppliers which will refund or send new product,
