hi teedon. can you recommend other face-to-face options besides the canton trade fair? i am planning a trip to china soon but i cannot go until summer time. any ideas?

DHgate is great, yes be carefull loads of branded-dodgy gear thats not authentic and will get you veroed on Ebay.

I bought a 200 piece item for 100 quid free posting and came within a week, after selling them all in 7 weeks I made just over 1000 quid profit! not bad earner on top of my monthly wage slip and selling more of them as I speak. Buy non branded items on there - check competition on ebay and if alls good go for it BUT MAKE SURE YOU READ ITEM DESCRIPTIONS PROPERLY and mail the sellers if you have any questions. DHgate is kinda like ebay in that the sellers have feedback etc, check that before hand!!! Once paid DHGATE hold the money untill you have recived the item once happy you can release the payment. EASY!

what kind of unbranded stuff is good on ebay? you mean the accessories and gadgets? I could not really find any unbranded items that would sell well on ebay

Also I think cell phone cases and covers will probably sell well but what about those netbook laptops?

Depends which one you sell,,there are at least 10 different Tablets That I Have seen on DHGate,,Most of them look IDENTICAL, but they are NOT You must be Careful,,Some are really Good,,and some are Terrible,,the Bad ones WILL Get you bad feed back on Ebay, but the others will not,,

There's alot of competition on ebay for these android tablets. Profit margin is pretty slim like usual,,,,

yes i am familiar with the Apad. The problem is that most of the newer models are really pricey. Only the older models are sell cheaper but i only see newer models being sold on ebay

It is very very hard to get authorized from rosetta stone but now it is much popular product recently.

Of Course they are Pricey on DHGate, But with certain Models you can still Make Money on them Buying from sellers on DHGate. The Trick is to go to the Manufacturer like the Sellers on DHGate do.

You will not get this sort of price from a genuine distributor.

So why not try and source something you will enjoy selling, my bad if you actually like rosetta stone software :D
