Welcome to the forums - all the best with your endeavours. |
ShadyOne | 05-28-2011 08:52 AM | Yeah same, welcome, good luck with that! |
Giardino | 05-28-2011 08:10 PM | Seems Ill have to wait a little longer to build up some trust here :P XD |
ShadyOne | 05-29-2011 09:06 AM | Hmm, it is hard, when you ask people for "sources" you are likely to get nothing. Majority of the time anyway. For many obvious reasons.
Asking people "how to source" is sometimes a better approach.
Good luck! |
stillselling | 05-29-2011 10:43 AM | I'll throw you a bone.
Buy broken/used systems cheap. Tear it down and sell the bits separately. With HD's, list the rev number on the PCB. Rip out the inverter, cables, backlight out of a broken LCD.
Get a real job with that degree, legit sellers of commodity items need to move VOLUMES to make a living. |
Giardino | 05-29-2011 10:58 AM | True enough, I was mostly doing this for a little extra side cash but you're right, ill stick to my D&B Ticket Business :P |
GreenBean | 05-31-2011 07:57 AM | We have this really really great dacility here.
It's called the SEARCH function.
I'm going to give you a clue to see if you can utilize that brain.
Not going to hit you but consider yourself SLAPPED :pop2:
Have an adventure & come back if you decide to accept the mission :yar: |
GB - wth is a dacility? ha =P |
Imakemoney | 05-31-2011 10:19 AM | I also like this dacility function - its great :D |
GB is too harsh at times - I like it but I mean, it's still harsh for some of the newcomers ha.
DACILITY - new dictionary term. |
ShadyOne | 05-31-2011 01:52 PM | @OP, Google also has a search dacility. So try that as well. |

You simply threw a bunch of electronic parts at us, and we just assumed that you are merely introducing yourself. If you are asking for suppliers, you should've stated it in the OP :) |

-G | Since your in the US, try Fry's that's were lots of sellers buy electronics below wholesale. It's no secret that the items are below wholesale there for lots of item's. Most of them are just one per customer,so you have to keep going back and back to get enough items to sell. The store always try's to upsell, so they will get sick of dealing when they figure out they can't make any money off of you.
So like I say it's no secret, just takes a lot of time. Fry's also has some good deals on their web site's, so you will just have to research all the prices and see what's a deal.
Another way to get items below wholesale is with rebates. Not much of a secret either, you just need to spend the time and cash required to build up your inventory. Like I say it's not a secret either, just do a search on EBay for" UPC removed" and you'll see thousands of items for sale.
Most things on E-Bay sell for close to wholesale, so forget about wholesale distributors as being much of a source. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 02:31 PM. | |
