Drop shipping from DHgate
 

Has anyone tried to drop ship something froma DHGate vendor. Pro's? Con's?

Now the competition is big and it is not easy to make money via dropship,as the international shipping cost is high for single item and also the price is high for single item.

So the wholesale is the only way to do business at present.

its pretty good if you find the right seller i would say buy the product from him first to see how it is and the shipping time, and also chat with the seller make them remember you atleast. i dropship from time to time and make sure your buyer knows its gonna take atleast 7-10 days to reach them its usually 7 days. hope this helps

sounds good in theory, but as teedon mentioned the shipping per item is expensive, also a if your suppliers ships out late or doesnt check the product quality properly before sending youl have major issues with your clients which could reflect badly on your overally reputation as a seller seriously damaging your business.

Essentially dropshipping is entrusting your business to someone else, most people wouldnt do that with people they know, let alone people theyve probably never met and living on another continent, overall its a big risk to take..

I learnt the hard way by posting about this. I had thought of all the problems beforehand... you also going to be causing your customer an issue if it gets seized because they'll receive the doomed letter from customs!
