Recertified WESTERN DIGITAL HARD DRIVES

Looking for recertified western digital laptop hard drives ( 120GB, 250GB, 320GB at a good price.

Check the WD site for distributors but their prices are CRAZY high IMO ( $38 FOR 20GB)

I can get it elsewhere a lot cheaper...

Any info would help!

Thanks :D:typing::ranger:

Make sure you approach this with a BUYER BEWARE attitude.

I see brand new ones on newegg for $42 for a 5400rpm 160gb. Not worth buying refurbished.

If you look around - you can pick a 500 - 1tb hard drive for that price. They go on sale regularly.......

Exactly. Either way, point being, why buy something that's probably already failed once? Especially when you're talking a couple bucks difference.

But there's lot of guys on eBay who actually sell this electronic stuff for more than it can be had at amazon/newegg/etc. I think some people actually prefer to buy everything on eBay.

Gamefreak 08-29-2011 12:20 AM

I buy about 1000 of these a month. The 250s go for like $34. That couple bucks is actually 5 grand a month difference that goes into my pocket.

ovidiu 08-29-2011 12:27 AM

Damn. I stand corrected.

Bought a few hundred earlier this year.

WD 500GB 2.5" 20$ a pop.

Sadly the supplier works with somebody else now exclusively.

I used to sell laptop drives last year like mad but my supplier went out of business. I just found a new one and will sell hard drives again. The prices on hard drives have come down a lot since last year but with supplies tight right now I might make some good bucks.

Can't, he doesn't even reply to emails anymore.

I'm 100% somebody local to him, grabs everything from him.
