credit card and dh gate
 

i order about 2000.00 a week from dh gate using pay pal.i tried to pay with a few credit cards and dhgate will not take the cards.does anyone know how to register a card with dh gate? thx

DHgate is limited in the dollar amount of transactions they can do per day. Once it is reached, that is it for the day. Also, they do not allow using credit cards to pay for certain items, or from certain sellers. I went around and around with them over this more than a year ago.

Solution? Use their e-wallet. You can Western Union funds into it. This is NOT the same as paying an individual seller through Western Union (NEVER do that!). DHGate is a publicly traded company, and they are trustworthy.

From the US, it costs me $16 to wire $1,000. When I place a $1,000 order and complete it, I get $30 in "rewards" which more than make up for the cost of the Western Union transfer.

The only downside to this method is that if a seller rips you off, and DHgate sides with the seller, you cannot do a chargeback. But that rarely happens, unless you are buying counterfeit merchandise. Claims for customs seizures can go either way on DHgate.

i have been using paypal for about a year with no problems.my real name paypal,i just dont want any suprises like send in recepits from suppiler.thx again

Contact dhgate. They probably want you to sign an authorization form with the credit card scanned to make sure your the one authorized to use it. It happened to me once and I signed and sent back the document to dhgate with my id.

This is why I don't use PayPal.

i tried 2 credit cards and 2 debit cards and contacted live chat on dh gate and they said credit cards are not supported by their merchant bank.any ideas?

I used Paypal for ALL my DHGate purchases with no problems, why change something that works? If eB asking for supplier receipts is your problem just make a stealth Paypal for all your DHGate purchases and don't use that Paypal to sell on eBay. That's what worked for me anyway, had a Paypal, user account and IP specifically for all my DHGate needs and there was never a problem.

Since when is dhgate worth buying from? All I ever got were counterfeit games and dvds. Not easy to get rid of.

Well, guess what, there are a lot more UNBRANDED items available from them than d*mn games and DVDs. Don't be so simple minded.

I had a similar problem about a year ago, after calling them up they said they only allow 2 credit cards, after that you can't use anymore but you can open another dhgate account though.
