Yes but don't fanny around sending money via PP, EVEN if its a standalone PP with nothing attached, as if PP start holding payments your Chinese / Latvian or whatever nationality they are supplier will then be sending you emails demanding their goods back obviously wont happen if its left the country.

You will just not be able to do business with them EVER again, they wont touch you with a bargepole as they don't want to be dealing with PP etc.

Sending small transfers via T/T like I have just done to another supplier for 25 pcs is absolutely the way to be going.

I used to send via WU but now just send via MoneyGram... So easy, can do it when i drop all my packages off at the post office and the fee is even less than WU ;)

Most Chinese suppliers seem averse to Paypal, I've done t/t's and had both good and bad experiences, worst case was I received a couple of thousand dollars 'worth' of completely ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and useless Intel CPU's with no way of getting money back. Common strand for the fraudsters though seems to be to give you a personal bank account to t/t to, instead of one in the company name. If you question it yuo will usually get some lame excuse about it's the owners account or they are just a subsidiary of this other name. Dont fall for it.

hmmm i see what your saying hdavey but thats the cost of doing business i suppose

I've always used MoneyGram and Western Union for my orders but I also make sure I place a sample order of the item I am interested in. If a supplier is not willing then I move on. I rather lose a few bucks than a few thousand. I've had suppliers ask me to use Paypal but I say no way Jose! both accounts can get nuked mucho easy.
