Buyers advice on DHGate
 

Hello,

I would like to make my first purchase of direct from china goods

Really I just want to buy one so I can look at the quality

Can anyone give me pointers on what to look for in the seller and what payment method is wise

Im not totally bothered if I lose the money
But i cant loose my paypal account
Or have any more money taken from any card I use

the price is about right for that item
there is other sellers on alibaba with the same item but the MOC are too high, I want one to see if its any good

A few thoughts...

If you sell on eBay using a PayPal account, do NOT use the same account to pay for anything on DHgate. Safest option is the E-Wallet.

All of the branded products, including DVD's and software on DHgate are counterfeit.

For ANY goods from China, the quality varies widely. Cheaper is not always better. And Expensive is not a guarantee of quality either.

Look at the sellers feedback and READ the negative comments. Are they quality related? Do you get the feeling the comments were justified? Can you see a pattern?

Keep in mind there is no such thing as easy money and there is no free lunch. People selling phakes on eBay and Amazon lose accounts. Competition is BRUTAL. Customs seizes ther merchandise. They also have customer service issues. Being sued and going to jail are possibilities also.

Don't get me wrong - personally, I don't care what anyone sells. But know what you are getting into. Don't think for a minute that the unit price on DHgate is the ONLY cost involved.

Whatever you do, do not sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗ on ebay or amazon

The item itself is a copy of an outdated design, well from what I can see (this is not the reason Im buying it I might add)

I would never ever try and sell it as the make it looks like

It would be a generic power tool in my eyes

I think im going to go for it with a card payment

Will update with what happens

Card payment is good to go on DH , me personally I wouldn't buy of the seller in your link , member since jan 2012 no transactions no feedback :nono:

WHY IS THAT NOT RECOMENDED?

so how do u pay for items via paypal if not use the one u are using with ur selling ebay account??

The Description On That Item Is Very Poor.

However it's rather cheap you won't break your bank - perhaps give it a try.

Paypal all the way when using dhgate... if you get a seller that has gd feedback... speak to him on live chat... Most of them are very honest and will tell you the ins and outs of the item, best way to pay & ship....

First of all , dont buy from this supplier , he has o txns and no feedback - so find an established and check their feedback then you will be flying . Happy profitmaking !!

I buy wholesale items using several pp accounts but never sell on eb with the same eb/pp account.

I have pp accounts just for buying stuff. No eb attached.
