You need to check ebay and see what's selling and for how much. Asking people here will not get you far since no one is willing to acknowledge that they sell it or not. Do some homework, research, research, and after that some MORE research.

That is all.

No experience, but I would make certain that it is real silver before you start selling.
You'd be surprised by what certain eBay buyers know/can find out about your items.

that's a good point myfriday09, gotta get some samples and make sure it's .995 Silver, I'm sure it is since I've purchased some silver jewelry in Mexico. Mexico has some great gold jewelry also, it might be worth looking into also.

Good Luck.

She gets silver dirt cheap - really? Well I never - I guess she must also be able to get genuine Microsoft programmes at $5 a go then?

No one gets silver dirt cheap - think about it

Good Luck.

.995 silvers too soft for jewelery. Quite a lot is sold in Mexico so marked.
Hall marks would need careful checking. An assay would be needed to ensure the standard. (ie make up of content).
Other danger is the alpaka silver

i have looked into this market and to be honest the chinese are flooding Eb with dirt

cheap metal that they call silver so i dont think it would be worth selling it on Eb.

Good luck if you take that route.

I think he meant to say .925 (the OP says 925)
Is that too soft too?
