Probably a good idea to pay with credit card at first before you have an established relationship with your supplier. If the transaction goes south, you'd always be able to chargeback. Personally, I'd only send western union to a supplier that I've done business with and trust.

DHgate was a great way to get fast cash also, when you wanted to withdraw you would purchase something then ask for a refund onto your debit card.

DHGate will be releasing a new type of payment method in the upcoming weeks, which actually looks very promising.

As for PayPal, they will no longer be dealing with them what so ever due to the fail in an annual screening.

Also say hello again to more visible replica products at the end of this month

You're saying PP is the only entity enforcing and controlling the removal of such items on these wholesale sites? I don't see that being the case.

Now that paypal is gone, more items that removed will be back.

Plus other sites still offer paypal.

They should of announced about 1 month ago before this happened so we would of known.

Default Trusting Chinese

My experience with Chinese suppliers has been great. I'd trust them with my money more than I would my neighbors. They're polite, they fix problems happily and honestly. They treat customers with respect.

Never trust nobody. Any moment anybody in life can have a change of heart. We are humans and what do what we need to progress either be bad or good.

Or

If you don't give a crap then they do crazy things.

A laugh? Because I've had good experiences with the Chinese? The responses to my post are about what I would expect from Americans. We're taught not to trust each other, and to fear foreigners. So much so that they laugh at the real positive experiences and prefer to cling to their implanted myths of foreigners out to get them.

It's great that you haven't had your a*s handed to you yet and all of your money stolen. But, please don't preach about sending random people tons of cash as being totally safe. Pull your head out of your a*s. The rest of us who take the necessary precautions in building successful businesses for ourselves has nothing to do with your idiotic ideology of Americans stereotyping the rest of the world as scammers.

The world isn't all flowers and rainbows, especially with business and money. Go take some courses in business and please do let us know which ones tell you that sending all of your money to random people you have never met is rule #1 for success.

Where did you get all this Mistrust Sh^t?,,,If Americans had some Kind "implanted myths of foreigners out to get them" China would have NEVER got the point where they Manufactuer OVER 12 TRILLION dollars a Year in goods for AMERICAN Companies, and PLEASE do NOT come up with any Excuse on how thats "Different" Because if there was indeed a CULTURAL Mistrust as you Suggest, American Corporations TRUST in FOREIGN Corporations to manufacture their goods would NEVER have developed to its Current levels.

The Bottom Line is that what I and Other Respondents to this Thread are trying to tell you that you have been LUCKEY to be dealing with an Honest seller and that your Experience should NOT be considered Normal, because it is NOT.

The Advice here is about protecting YOU, and it is being given to you with all the RIGHT intentions, and what do you do?,,You make some ASSININE Statement that All Americans are Taught NOT to trust foreigners ,,,Really,,,Taught by WHO,,,the Same People who taught you to send all of your money to a stranger in China,,,KEEP those lessons to yourself Please, they have NO real Basis in Reality,,If I need a Lesson on Trusting foreigners from a Tool, I'll go to Tool Coral in Home Depot for one.

What you are Basically saying is that all Americans are Paranoid, and that all Chinese Sellers are Honest and that its OK to trust them MORE than you Have to,,,Really,,,Thats CRAZY,,,and if that is what you truly believe, do EVERYONE a Favor and KEEP IT TO YOURSELF,,,

It has nothing to do about being american or chinese. In the end, money is the same to everyone on this planet and they need it to survive.
You just have not run into a supplier that is in a desperate need to screw you over.

Ive had 'polite' and so called 'respectful' suppliers in the past as well. And if the **** hit the fan, they tried to disappear. Ive also had neighbors who were total asshats 99% of the time, but if something happened, guess what? they were there for me and others around them.

So please, just count yourself lucky at the moment, but do NOT come here generalizing a country with over a billion people against your own back yard. You should get subscribed, use the search function to see how many people here have been screwed by the 'polite and honest' chinese in the past.

Only a good idea if the supplier is legit if not then dont risk gift card. It should work for small orders.

If you go onto DH, click something to buy, you will then see the list all of the payment methods you can use.

Fairly wide and varied selection of payment methods

I always use a credit card to buy things on dhgate or any other China websites. I do it that way in case the items are of bad quality or I do not receive them I can do a chargeback on the card if the Escrow fails you and the seller still tries to keep the money.
