Where to find pallets / liquidations?

Ok I am starting to get the hang of finding legit and reliable wholesalers but where in the world do I find "local" liquidations and pallets for sale? I am in NY so its hard to find the 5% of people who have morals and aren't trying to rip you off. :ballchain:

They don't exist, The trick is to play ball with these places. None of these liquidation places give you all quality, they pick and sort just for suckers. Also remember that there is probably a select few people who get to cherry pick the good stuff.

Yea I figured that might be the case. So how do I start off so I can eventually become one of those "first picks"? Forget searching for "wholesale" or "liquidation", I would be better off googling "scam".

Start from China don't even look at these site like liquidation.com because you will not make any money on ebay/amazon

Good luck

I know hundreds of folks who have lost thier butts buying from places like liqudation dot com.

You buy from them and then the seller adds 10 more of the exact same item up for bid.

Before long 100 people selling the exact same item on ebay cutting prices down to no profit left.

Only item I made a killing off of a pallet was mens ties, tons of ties but made 3.00 to 25.00 a tie depending on name brand and sold 90% range of them.

Careful with pallets, the next guy will buy the same pallet and undercut you to n profits.

Your location should nearly be a g-d send for items.

Have you looked at any posts on here by Slapped or gibsonton?

Both users have addressed the topic of sourcing goods. You may find something from their posts.

Problem with 'pallets' is the reliability of all of the items on a pallet.

Thank you.

One poster here spent 1500.00 and 400.00 shipping on a household electronics pallet only to not be smart enough to understand they were shelf pulls and returns. And what do get with shelf pulls and returns? Someone elses crap they cannot sell themselves.

To be successful at purchasing pallets you need to visit on of these pallet places in person on location and inspect the skids before buying.

You can seek out those who buy pellets and buy from them ,you would have to pay more but you get to examine the items before you buy.
