Hi Guys,

New to the forum.. and eBay.

I need some "foolproof" ideas of what to see on eBay? I've got some investment for stock etc and assume that I would be bulk buying from asia, specficially China.

ANY ideas are appreciated.

Competition can be a great thing in business, but I doubt you'll have many people telling you what they sell and where they buy it from.

Welcome to the forum and good luck in stealthing. The best advice I can give you is to have a look on sites like DHgates, or even ebay itself for stock. Afraid you wont get many people giving away their trade secrets though

Not many will give up their sources/items because it will give them competition in their niche market.

Many have spent hours or years finding products and will not be posting it on a public forum for many to see.

Research items and sales of those items is the way you will have to go.

Lots of others before you have posted on the subject.

You have to do lots of searching, lots of reading AND become great friends with GOOGLE.

Have you any ideas of what you might sell on ebay.... share a little.

It's going to be hard work but it is doable.

if you are new to selling then you may want to start with stuff you personally have an interest in. It will keep the interest and passion going while you broaden your market and further your research.
ie: if you find a good deal on dolls and find they sell well, compared to finding a good deal on remote controlled helicopters and find they sell well..... My interest would be helicopters....It would be fun flying them around and learning more about the parts etc... Always helps to have a passion for the things you do and things you sell? For what thats worth...

Google and lots of researching is important.

Go with some product you have knowledge of first.

Research that product with words such as wholesale, supplier etc.

Once you find something you are comfortable with and have some knowledge then go to ebay completed listings and do some research.

I use terapeak myself most of the time but you could use completed listings just as well.

I would consider going to China yourself and look for some products. I find it better than to send my money and not receive what I paid for.

My suggestion is to work with items you have knowledge about.

Work backwards, research items on eby and other sites. You can profile items by, how many sellers, what items are selling for, where sellers are located, etc.

Then look at suppliers, do the math, and if it works, go for it.
