Byuing Wholesale in Pallets, from the US- Any US transporters?

Hello
I'm planing to buy liquidation lots from US suppliers. Lots can be 2-3 pallets, and up to full truck loads.
I'm very new to this, and have no idea how it works when it comes to transporting the goods from the US wholesaler warehouse to my Canadian address.

1- do you know any recommended transport/freit company who can pick up the goods in the US on my behalf, and get it delivered to my Canadian address?

2- Is there Someone who did this before, and have an average idea of the costs related to freit transport from the US to Canada?

Any help will be more then appreciated

Thanks in advance :)

Cross border buying like that would be very tricky. I don't think most US sellers would even do such a thing. Going through Canadian Customs is quite daunting compared to other countries. Look to get like a 20% bill tacked onto whatever the declared value is.

Probably aim for a professional customs broker for this kind of advice OP

You would be wiser to take outside professional advice. In the long term, that will save your wallet.

Thanks everyone for your responses.
GB, that what I did, and I found a US freit company who also operates from Montreal.
I spoke with their rep on the phone, and they seem to be very helful. I'm now waiting for their qutotation for the "all ine one" service.
Once I'll know what it needs for transportation and customs fees etc, I'll see if it worth it or not.
Thanks again for your advices :)
