Whats are my options to ship larger goods on free delivery

I have got this items with size around 45cm x 30cm. less than 200g. I found them profitable to sell on ebay however other sellers are offering a similar but not the same item on a free delivery.

So I am wondering how people get to ship an item that is not even worth the cost of delivery on a free delivery

Not sure anyone would even pay me a pound talkless of £2.50 for delivery for an item that is not worth a peanut

ebay Uk users, how do you go about this free delivery pls?

I have also wondered this, I bought a phone charger recently for £1.80 with free postage that costs £2.80 to post 2nd class royal mail. Maybe if you sell lots and have a business account with the crooks known as royal mail they will give you a discount but I still don't think this would be profitable.

Perhaps selling small things like this at a loss is a way for some sellers to build feedback?

In the past I have sold on this basis purely to get feedback by selling some house junk for 1p and covering the postage but these big sellers really do look like they are making a loss.

Think how the supermarkets think, asda is undercutting Iceland on everything in my town, they will make a loss on some products but ultimately they hope to crush iceland with this. For instance, say iceland got 100 new customers through their price cuts then asda takes most away by following suit. Iceland now has the same customers as before at a reduced margin and if they hike the prices back up they will lose more customers.

A lot of sellers sell items where they make zero money....particularly those from Hong Kong, China, etc. They even lose money on these items but it's mostly for feedback.
