Wholesale SOurce for "Lost" Amazon Merchandise

Amazon, in the process of accepting merchandise into the FBA warehouses, loses approximately $30,000,000 worth of merchandise each month. When this happens, Amazon reimburses the seller who sent in the merchandise.

Eventually, much of this merchandise is found - it was just misplaced somewhere and they have no idea where. If you have ever seen pictures of their HUGE warehouses, this is understandable. Well, maybe not UNDERSTANDABLE, but you can see how it could happen.

When merchandise is found, it is sold to a company that puts it on pallets and wholesales it to whoever wants to buy it. Here is the link:

888 Lots | Liquidation Sales Experts

This is not an auction site, they just sell the merchandise for whatever they believe they can get for it. I have no affiliation with them, I just thought I would pass this on.

Edited to add:

The DO require a resale certificate in order to purchase, but they WILL allow you to view the deals without one. A resale certificate is the paper you get from your state allowing you co collect sales taxes.

ALSO: There is a "negotiate price" button on their listings. If you use it, you can often get the deal for 10% - 20% below the asking price. My advice would be to ask for larger discounts on the less popular merchandise.

Sorry! I don't think they have anything similar in the UK or Europe, but I will ask hem when I talk to them again.

Should be a way round that though...with a bit of thought.

They do ship internationally

On the customer application it says some info about international buyers. Not sure exactly how it works but it's worth taking a look at

Given the fact that these are sold in bulk, often in pallet size, I would think the shipping costs for international would be prohibitive.

Looks like they originally operated under 888Digital.

Not sure why there are 2 websites with nothing on them but a phone number and a register form.

Only review is a negative one on Yelp, which are always subjective, but I can't find sh*t else.

Also, I submitted my information when jeff started this post and have heard absolutely nothing back. A bit unprofessional at best.

Visted these guys in person today when passing by the bridge, everythibg is fine, and free shipping in the nyc area as well, but only problem is that they sell branded items, but amazon does not let the seller sell branded items without an authorized reseller certificate from brands like mophie and otterbox etc...

Noticed that too. Spending thousands of dollars on branded goods and trying to sell without legit invoice is going to be pretty tough on AZ or EB.

The listings all say 10-60% of MSRP. But most things on ebay, are already 10-60% of MSRP.....

Hell, Invicta watches are like 1000% of MSRP.

Well, I spoke with Alex at 888lots and they are now selling individual items and doing a whole bunch of other stuff.

I just posted their information as they seem to be a good source for items. Not EVERYTHING they have is branded and not EVERYTHING that is branded requires confirmation from an authorized distributor. Some people will find opportunity there and some will not. For the record, I am not an affiliate of theirs and I don't receive anything from them if anyone here makes a deal with them.

Has anyone tried investing in buying these lots and resending them directly back to Amazon FBA? Just wondering

Especially on the individual items... seems like they are competing with their own website lol.

Who has been successful on here? I'm looking to expand and invest

Well, every lot is documented. So, you can see what it is that you would be getting. As to what it is worth, you would have to look it up on Amazon to see what it is actually selling for. Amazon shows how popular each item is in the "Item Rankings" - the lower the number, the better. So, you CAN get a sense of what the item sells for and IF it will sell.
