When do you Max out your store?

Hello guys

Quick question, whats the minimum amount of time you would let pass before you max out a stealth store that's 2 months old, has a 100- 200 item selling limit and 15 feedback?

Many people suggest maxing out your limits to get further increases.

I personally never go beyond 75%, as I know for a fact one account was once flagged for selling too much too soon.

I believe an account is strong once you have surpassed 3 months in time, have 20-50 selling feedback and have the 21 day holds removed.

That's when I start to ramp the accounts up.

Maxing out to early can raise red flags. Spread your risk and sells over multiple accounts

after 3 months is that the golden rule?

Personally I think maxing out a 5 or 10 limit is no problem.. but don't max out a 50 or 100 item limit or more on a newer account.

Build up works best for me.... If I want to stay the account below radar then do not sell more then $1000 a month... Try to stay consistent....
If you want to "ramp it up" then you must have your house in order...

Phone numbers, invoices, ID, EIN, addresses, etc

A small trick I have used in the past is GO HARD from start and get all the verification out of the way when you start. usually when you have 10 items or less limit. It is a lot easier to provide invoices for 10 items then 100's. Once I get past the limitation the odds are much smaller that I will get limited again for same items. Seems once you are approved legit in the system, you bypass a lot of restrictions.

Why did you capitalize the word max?

It's a very wise rule Trustfund, discovered by many through trial and error dealing with eBay/PayPal. I currently have an account bought off here that is just over 2 months old approaching 40 feedback, no where maxed out of course as it has a nice selling limit that I will make more use of after the 3 months are up, still has 21 day holds on funds as well. Have 30 to 40 items listed currently.

Bide your time, there is no point rushing and putting your account at risk unnecessarily, plenty of time to increase the amount listed after those first 90 days are up.

I have couple of other accounts with much lower amounts listed that I am nurturing along, spreading my risk as has been mentioned in previous replies to you in this thread.

Time of year and what you are selling are two very large factors as well

Hi Yankee, yes more wise words for Trustfund. Personally I took a leaf out of your book so to speak and listed a few children's bow and arrow sets, they sold well.
