Buying large wholesale lots
 

How do you guys handle shipping large wholesale lot orders internationally? I want to increase my order size as I sell out really fast. Trying to decide if I should start ordering in bigger lots, but I worry about having packages siezed, customs issues, etc.

Should I keep orders small or order big lots?

Packages can be seized regardless of size.

Import the size that allows your business to flourish.

If items legit then they wont get seized.... you can buy as much as you want....

Why are you worried about packages being siezed....something you need to tell us? foofoo's galore.

I bring in my items by container loads. Never once had anything seized. Im sure Home Depot and Lowes etc...would also concur.

No but how would customs know what the item they are seizing is anyway?

They inspect regardless of declaration paper...

What?

They seize dangerous, illegal and counterfeit goods only. Hence the reason for seizure.

Everything else goes through smoothly as long as you pay your taxes.

I understand that, but I do not want to give any reason for my packages to be stopped and potentially seized, ultimately resulting in a delayed delivery.

100% of my packages get inspected.

I dont think you understand how this works if you are worried about a seizure. Or you are buying questionable goods.

No issues with my items or have I had issues or seizures. I guess I just don't understand the customs and inspection process.

You have been on this forum for 8 years and have over 2,000 posts but don't understand customs/inspection process?

Here let me refresh your brain..

The purpose of Customs is to protect each country's economy, residents, jobs, environment, etc., by controlling the flow of goods, especially restrictive and prohibited goods, into and out of the country.

aking, ALL packages are inspected. Nearly impossible to ship UPS, DHL, FEDEX to the USA and not have packages inspected.

you can use a good agent and freight consolidator you will be fine

if you do not have proof they are real you are taking a risk . Have a drop for your return address and ship them separate in small packages.

any item coming from china will go through customs
