Met a bad buyer what's the outcome of diffrent item location?

Hi guy!

Met my first bad ebay buyer.

I didn't have the stock with me so to not let the buyer down and keep within my dispatch and delivery time I contacted my partner to send the item,I've never had problem the person has received the item they payed for.

It's the same time frame for delivery if not faster In some cases.

Met a buyer who questioned it by saying it says item location UK and I explain it normally is but to not let him down I sent it via my partner in the Netherlands so he wasn't let down.

He replys

'this is not right I like to keep my money in the UK ecomony, why would I give it to the Netherlands'

Calls me an idiot.

'Just prefer to keep the business in the uk if possible I always buy British or from a British source'

I said this is boarderline racist(not a smart move I don't think)

Then his like I'll most likely return the item

I have no returns on my listing but to keep him sweet I'll honour it,

What's the possible outcomes for me?

His left negative feedback that don't bother me too much I saw it coming.

The negative is pretty much the worst outcome really.

You get arses like this sometimes. Just have to let them not get to you and brush it off

Thanks James for the reply.

In regards to reporting me?
(Always have 100% feedback before this no problems)

Think eBay would brush it off?

Its unlikely to get anyone actually looking at the report if its just a one off

Umm, this is in NO WAY boarderline racist. I don't think you understand the meaning of the word racism. :uk:

And lets all remember, that EVERYONE on ebay has returns, period. I don't know why people keep pretending like that's not the case.

I will agree that it is a bad buyer tho. Worse outcome will just be a negative.

Make sure you reply to his negative feedback so anyone looking will see you still are a good seller.

Its not racism. He is just nationalistic. Next time around I wouldn't mention it. Your just giving more ammo to the buyer to say this kind of stuff. Just tell him or her the next time. "Your on back order" Your waiting for additional inventory to get in."

A negative is the worse thing you can get. Keep your messages short and simple. While drawing him out to talk more. The more he talks the better chances he will trip up on message to you where he will be violating eBay feedback policy.

Nationalistic? Seems extremely difficult to do so, just about everything is made in China....just because the seller is in the same Country, doesn't mean the item was made in the same Country.

I mean, if you're nationalistic, you're going to TRY to keep as much money as you can in your own country. Or try to support a local company to keep business in your own country. Nothing wrong with either of those things really.
