I don't get how people sell volume on ebay
 

I've checked a bunch of products that I sell on Amazon on ebay, and the volume difference is huge.

For example, on one popular product I sell, the top listing on ebay has 60 units sold, over the course of many months. I sold 60 units of this product on Amazon TODAY, and for $5 more per unit than the ebay listing.

I was considering doing ebay + auto MCF to sell my FBA inventory on ebay as well, but it seems like it's not worth the effort. I would get what, like a 1% increase in sales?

It really depends on the product & the market for it, for some products ebay is much more profitable than amazon, and vice versa

Amazon you compete mostly on price with many products. eBay you compete with pictures, search rank, policies etc.

I like to use both. For the products I sell eBay is much a better option. Amazon only accounts for 10% of my sales and FBA isn't even worth the time because I control the listings with no competitors.

Its a very niche area. Some people sell somewhat similar items but nobody else is on my listings. Unfortunately its slower on the turnover.

A bit of a setback I hear that :( nothing is ideal...or rarely.
