Re: Reporting a dropshipper

I have got together with other sellers and set up an agreement of price brackets - in other words fixing the price of an item where there were 520,000 other sellers for that type of item.
It worked very very well for around 10 weeks.
It also allowed us to compare notes so as we can better understand eBay's algorithm and start to apply that knowledge in other products/categories.

So far on this forum its seems a lot of people with a mentality of "Hit & Run" either the genuine buyer, ebay or paypal or VERO items.
I have yet to see any threads on here by other sellers who do not fall in the above.
Fixing prices should be done at every opportunity as otherwise, the only
other people that gain anything are PayPal and eBay.

Your thick as horse s**t if you do not believe that everything in your everyday life is not fixed. Most industries are operated by a cartel of companies and if you have ever purchased an Apple product, just one single one in the last 15 years, then you have bought in to price fixing and rewarded Apple for such a policy.

Please no whining about price fixing.

So you are advocating price fixing or report him?

It's amusing that you criticize the "hit & run" mentality of users here while you advocate breaking federal law. Good luck with your defense of everyone does it.

Re: Reporting a dropshipper

Your a funny guy!
Remind me which country Apple is from?
Remind me how they have such margins?
(Here is a tip: look across all the different countries and let me know if you see any real price difference on the same Apple products - even after currency conversion is applied)

Remind me if they are not being prosecuted in Russia for price fixing?
If you own an Apple product - and most Americans do - then you have supported price fixing.

If you are going read replies, then read them in full and not just the tit-bits, read it in the whole context of the reply.

Re: Reporting a dropshipper

I've been reading the forum for a while now and feel like I want to go back here and say a few things:

- all the info that I found here makes me realise that I have many things to think about instead of looking on someones business.

- my first feeling was like the whole atmosphere here is quite aggressive, but the respond I got was obviously the consequence of the tone I choose and my whole message.

- I didn't take any action agains the other seller, in fact now I look on the whole situation differently.

thanks for sharing your experience here. I'm still learning, but hope someday I'll be able make some input myself.

That is great to hear Vincent. The remarks above are generally the responses youll get when talking about trying to get a seller in trouble or suspended since this is a forum dedicated to helping those that were suspended or had other troubles selling on ebay/paypal/amazon before. Look forward to your contributions :)
