Several Questions Post-Read of eBay Stealth
Hi all,
Feeling very optimistic after purchasing and reading the eBay Stealth guide. However, I do want to have a few questions answered before I take the leap and open new eBay and PayPal accounts. Apologies in advance for the number of them :hail:
1. Social security number issue with eBay and PayPal? I am using a variation of my real name for my new accounts (eBay, PayPal, bank account, etc.).
a.I don't understand what I'm supposed to/allowed to do re social security number for eBay and Paypal. Help.
b. I used my real ss# for the new bank accounts -- is that a problem?
2. I think I'm just being overly paranoid based on my incredibly basic understanding of cookies/flash -- but I've signed up for a new bank account (Chase) and a new Bluebird card and gotten a new address to use.
a. Can eBay or PayPal "see" anything related to which name, address, or social security numbers on these new accounts (Chase, Bluebird, my "purchased" mailbox at a mail center)? Or JUST that I've visited those sites (assuming I can even do that in the same browser).
b. Continuing with that same line of thought, should I only login to eBay and PayPal (and nothing else) on my "stealth-specific" browser?
3. Can eBay "see" that I've logged onto certain sites such as these forums and will that be a flag to them that I might have a stealth account? Same with Gmail (my stealth Gmail account and my regular email account -- can I not log in to both if I'm using my stealth browser/vpn)?
4. If my VPN kicks me off (I got a VPN account as well as created a new user account on my Mac) and my Mac automatically picks up my regular wifi signal while the VPN is "down" -- am I screwed?
