What Are Sub Accounts?

Some members have mentioned they create additional sub accounts..

Questions:

1. How do they work?

2. Are they part of a business account?

3. Do you connect them to the same PayPal?

4. Are they allowed by the eBay?

No .... If i remember correctly members have stated they create sub accounts off from business ebay accounts... Or an additional regular account (non business)... is this allowed by ebay... I dont know why im asking it makes no difference to me... I just like to learn new things i guess..
