Reloadable USA Visa Gift Card for Canadian Citizen
 

Hey guys,

I am planning to go to states to buy a US based reloadable online card that I can shop on some sites that require only US credit card.

I am a citizen of Canada, so there is no way I can get it with SSN.

Are there any cards out there that can be purchased in states that dont require SSN and are quite cheap on fees to reload?

Not to the best of my knowledge. Most that I know of operate as sort of a bank (like Amex Bluebird) and they require a SSN.

If you are physically going to the US, why don't you open a bank account? You can request a debit visa and use that for online shopping. You can open an account as a Canadian just ensure that you let them know that you do not have a US tax ID.

Ye, I wasnt aware of the debit cards being able to be used online hence I was thinking it would only work with credit card.

I opened RBC US Georgia account, which is the US based account that I could open from Canada for which I would be receiving a US debit card as well.

Waiting for it to arrive and see how it turns out.
