eBay Sales Dropped HARD for no Reason on all Accounts!?
 

I have 1,100 items listed on eBay right now over 2 accounts and used to very consistently sell 4.75 per day on average. Earlier this month this was happening consistently but now about 2 weeks into the month it just fell to 1 a day between the 2 accounts. Is this a sign of eBay seeing a possible link or what? I am extremely diversified so there is no way any one seller could have taken the market or anything like that. Why doesn't Casani like me anymore?!

My setup is way different than yours but I've also noticed a huge drop recently across most of my accounts. Last Sunday we had a total of 411 outgoing shipments from over the weekend, and today we have 261 for the same period of time. It's been a roller coaster for us since the election though. The 9th/10th were absolutely terrible but then we bounced back to about average for a week or so. Today is the slowest Sunday we've had in months, though I think that may be at least partially due to us being sold out of several popular products. We also primarily sell "commodity" type products and people are starting with Christmas shopping, so that may be contributing some also

I try not to lose sleep over this sort of thing because I've learned it's fairly common with Ebay. Sometimes they will reindex their search results or do a sitewide update and sales will drop 80% overnight. I've always rebounded before being forced out of business though...

My sales dropped considerably too, in one day, they suspended 14 of my accounts, so that would make sense. Looks like I'll be busy today, it takes me about 35 minutes to make an account.

It could be the up coming holidays (sales slow down until after Thanksgiving) or that eBay is not listing your items as high in search.. I've seen it happen.

The best thing to do is spread our your sales over more accounts.. the more the better!

Well, last week, they suspend 14 in one day, maybe 25 total for the week before thanksgiving. Unbelievable. I think they must have hired a troll to suspend accounts that look like mine. Looks like I'll be making more accounts this week and next.

That's a lot of accounts, reminds me of last year or the year before where they hit a TON of people's accounts. There has to be something that got cross-contaminated in your setups or something else.

I think I was selling the same stuff throughout. For example, product A and B throughout 40-50 accounts. Some hired troll probably was there and spotted it, so decided to knock it off. Plus there's something about the box that might have given something away, so I went to a retail store and used that as my stock photo instead. The one at the retail store, so far has stayed ok. Plus, none of the accounts was suspended because it was linked to another account. Besides, there's the steam black friday sale, so I think I'll be using my Vanilla cards on those :-)

Same item across multiple accounts can be a good link, different images for all 50...like different angles and backgrounds?

Yup, all pictures different, maybe angles look similar, or style looks similar.
