Dropshipping/wholesale directory
 

I'm starting my product research for my new eBay stealth account in the future and hoping to find a dropshipper so I can save some time doing all the packing myself and I'm coming across all these dropshipping and wholesale directory with paid membership. Is it time saving to pay for a membership to get a whole list of legitimate wholesaler/dropshippers? Or are are they all scams or over saturated on eBay which is not worth a penny?

Do not waste a penny on subscribed lists.

Agreed, all of them are a waste of money. The margins are going to be so slim with any of those public directories, that one chargeback or lost shipment will easily put you into the negatives with Paypal.

If you'll be selling in the USA, you can dropship with me.

What do you mean as in "by public"? Does that mean all of the wholesaler and dropship pers you can find on google? Most of the members here are preaching "do your research". If those could be found by me on Google, that it could be found by someone else. I always believe that sellers who make a six figure income on eBay has some kind of connection with wholesalers or drop shippers that cannot be found on the Internet.

Hi, did anybody tried to dropship from aliexpress ?

I'm thinking to try this WordPress plugin - alidropship.com(no ref link), collecting payment by paypal.

But it cost from $300 to $900. Not cheap at all!!

What do you think? Will it make some profit or just waste of time ?

I do not advert this plugin! and do not trying to sell it! Just want your opinion

I suggest OP to find a trustable supplier first, then find a warehouse/logistic supplier. You pack your products and bulk ship them to the logistic, they will arrange the daily shipping for you.

I'm not sure about todays situation. But in 2015, when my friends and I started searching for good "warehouse/logistic supplier" it turned to 1/5-2 months of wasted time.

There were 2 groups of companies:

1 group - Rippers.

The only thing they wanted is to rob inventory we shipped to them. Dont belive me ? Try to work with them ;)


2 group - Too big and professional players / Refused to work with our "low" shipping volume:

All companies was tested and all of them failed to work properly with $0.5-3k goods volume per week.

1-st group tryed to cheat and rob our inventory.

2-nd group was not interested in customers like us

No, but it's one of my many plans once I decide to attack it. There are cheaper alternatives to the price they're offering though. I'd have to go through my archives to find the links again.

Living there doesn't mean you automatically know all dropshippers in that country, not to mention finding one that is trustworthy to work with.

Are you talking about their ali plugin for $29 ? I used it already - nothing interesting, usual parser, you can find better for that price.

Would have to be deaf dumb and blind to live in hk and not find reputable drop shippers. I live in USA and have 50 hk dropshippers

Just forget about the list. These type of resources are useless. You focus on the specific wholesale website. The price of listed items is cheaper than those in alibaba. Please be careful of counterfeit items you have to ask Chinese if the items are real. A mainland Chinese had sent me a marketing email in English a month ago and he wanted to sell me brand items. I am very familiar with the price of real and counterfeit. He added my Wechat then he might have found that I am very familiar with the secret, then he refused to sell me. He only sells to Western sellers. I believe that his intention is to deceive non-Chinese speakers. Be careful of this. You're from China so you must have no problem of communication. You use 3rd party warehouse. There are a lot of choices you have to compare, I have 99% contact information of all Chinese operated US/UK/DE warehouse. Different warehouses have their different characteristics, so you have to think more. Everything will have to be calculated then you import large amount of goods and pay the duty and VAT, then you are good to go.
