Has an account indef suspension for performance/defects EVER been reinstated?
 

If so, what was the argument they used to make a successful appeal?

My main eBay account (5000+ feedback) was indefinitely suspended in 2013 for falling below seller performance standards at the time, which involved DSRs/cases and were MUCH stricter than the current standards.

I've been selling on a stealth account since then, so it's not a life or death thing, but there is some sentimental value in my old account which took 10+ years to accumulate that much feedback.

I've just wondered if anyone has managed to get this type of ban overturned before. loucoins, one of the rare MC999 survivors to be reinstated, was originally banned for VERO violations, not seller performance.

One of my account was suspended around 2years before due to the poor seller performance.
I got notifications in October that Ebay permit me to sell again with 100/3k+
I have made successful sale this month.
It's worth trying if it's very old Acc.

I've never had a successful reinstatement, but some people have, it's been on the forums recently.

Did you appeal your suspension or did eBay just send you an invite out of the blue?

Never mad appeal as was suspended and forgot about it. In October I received the evil that I can sell again as my seller rating is improved.

I've not had reinstatement either. However I usually don't check the emails after suspension. I just begrudgingly move on. Maybe I should..

Thousands of accounts have been reinstated this past year. It all depends on the defects. If you had more than 0.30% unresolved cases, you will most likely never get reinstated.
